He learned how to barbecue in St. Louis and she brought up all the southern appetizers and sides It's amazing. When traveling through Michigan I go out of my way to stop there. P.S. “Cool place overall. Excellent atmosphere. Really expensive and average, if not underwhelming food food wise. They sort of struggled to get me set up with a good vegan option that they didn't have to compromise on. The taco was potato based and what it lacked it flavor, it made up in looks at least. It was missing a second tortilla. Kind of a sin. Meh. The sandwich, eggplant based, had a delicious smoked flavor. However the rest of it consisted of tortilla chips, thinly sliced cabbage, and toasted bread. I had to add whatever hot sauce they had on the table so it wasn't too dry. The bread they used seemed to be of high quality. Overall, not a bad place;. I'll have to try more of their options, but I feel like I didn't get a good first impression... Especially for 30+ dollars”

“We were so excited to hear about a new restaurant in the Arts District. Got to try it out this week and we were not disappointed! Tried an app (fried pickles, crispy and savory), a salad (chicken Cobb, had all the usual components and very delicious Ranch dressing), and a sandwich (cold roast beef). Fries were a delicious side. Also, drinks! The cocktails we tried were tasty, maybe a tad ice-heavy. They had my favorite cider on tap (Blake’s Triple Berry)! I do regret not trying the margarita—next time. We will be back!”

“I was greeted at the door by Leslie. She made me smile and I didn't stop until after I left for the evening. She sat me comfortably at the bar, offered both a drink and food menu, asked if I had any dietary restrictions, listed the special and offered some food suggestions. I was then greeted by both Cody and Claire behind the bar. I was treated to a delicious dirty martini after we discussed my gin and drink preferences. Again, I was asked about dietary restrictions. I quickly noticed that the chefs were in clear view at the other end of the bar and I made my way to that end so I could watch them prepare meals. I ordered the Slow Steak. It was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked with an amazing flavor. I asked how they make the crispy potatoes and the chef explained the process to me (which I was able to attempt at home for the family and it was a HUGE hit). I sat in awe with my mouth-watering as I watched them prepare a number of different dishes as if they were a carefully crafted art sculpture. I cannot wait to try everything I saw. Everything about my experience was top notch and, while food quality is an important factor, the customer service was just a whole different level at this establishment. They know what they're doing, they hire the right people and they train them superbly. I would recommend everyone give this new establishment a try and you will NOT be disappointed!”

“We had the honor of holding the first event at this new venue. The place was amazing! Every guest that walked through the door was commenting about the wonderful space. Parking, bathrooms, kitchen, bar, brides dressing room, coat closets and of course ... the Secret Garden is breathtaking. Even in November people were outside enjoying. I can only imagine how awesome it will be in the summer. I would highly recommend reserving this space for any event you may need!”

“True North Fish Market is a fairly new fish market and restaurant in Benton Harbor. I've been waiting weeks to come here and finally came in today to get the 4 fish tacos for $12.99. My husband grabbed a can of sparkling cucumber water from the fridge and said it was refreshing. I really liked the make over they gave this store. It is well organized and looks great. While waiting for the tacos my husband and I discussed coming back in the future to take advantage of the market part of the business. He wants to come and pick up some fish for a fish fry, which sounds amazing. My order was up and I was so excited. The tacos look delicious and my mouth was watering. I got it the car and made my husband wait to move the car so I could take a photo of my tacos and also take one out to eat it because I just couldn't wait a moment longer. Oh my goodness gracious great balls of fire. True North did not disappoint this fish loving human and I will be back ASAP.”

“This place lives up to it's name! This place is FANTASTIC [Atmosphere] Pretty simple and humble. It's a take-out spot mainly (though there are a few picnic tables outside). Best to call your order in ahead of time. Also, they take cash or credit which is a plus [Food] Simply excellent. I ordered the fish-fry dinner (perch) with a side of mac 'n cheese fries. The fish was fried to perfection and the hot sauce that comes with it is wonderful. Best I've had in a while. Mac 'n cheese is easily one of the best in town, if not the best. The fries were pretty good too and they're home cut (very similar to 5 guys). Only wish that the fish came with tartar sauce and that the fries were a little crispier [Overall] I highly recommend it! This will likely be my new Friday go-to spot for lunch :)”

“This 18 hole course is really made up three 6 hole courses. There is no flow to the layout. Nicklaus is the greatest of all time. He must have thought everyone is as good as he is when he created this beast. If you are a 15 handicapper you will lose a dozen balls and three putt numerous times. The greens are crazy. I would bet there will be a revision to this course before long. It is just too hard for the average golfer. The service, amenities are very nice. The greens are usually in pretty good shape. This particular day the course was extremely soft (it hadn't rained in at least a week). Ball marks we're like craters. Balls were plugging in the fairway. It was way over-watered. It is a unique layout and worth giving it a shot. Just make sure to bring your A game.”

“I'd like to start out by saying I honestly think this is my second favorite breakfast spot in the area. In my honest opinion it makes The Mason Jar look overrated. The food is awesome. The customer service is great and it's not over priced unlike it's nearby competition. The one draw back is the parking situation. They have a small lot and you have to walk a little bit but not a deal breaker. My girlfriend and I came upon this place last year and couldn't be happier.”
