“Went there with my uncle who turned 90 something 🤣 not allowed to say... We seen lots of folks we haven't, especially him, hasn't seen in ages! Was a fantastic time! “Came here on a recommendation and sooo happy we did! Dinner was great and the view is beautiful! We started with the homemade fried mushrooms, which were sooo good! Then we had the NY Strip Steak with Whitefish and the Pork Ribeye....Yesss and Yesss!! Our waitress was a delight also! Cute decor and a live update of ShipWatch, which was really cool! We will definitely be back and, with a lil planning, we'll be able to see a footer pass by!!”

“WOW 😳 These burgers are really good! This was our first time to West Pier Drive-In and we loved it. The location feels really cool and the carhops were great! We had two cheeseburgers made to order and we split a very generous portion of onion rings. The burger is huge and delicious. It has lots of condiments. It is a messy and delicious 🍔 They have a very good selection of other choices also. I would highly recommend trying this place! It might be my new favorite!”

“Little Caesars has come a long way baby! Their pizza is not great, but it’s not bad at all and it is fast and reasonably priced. Their toppings (and sauce) are middle of the road. Their crust is what’s really improved. I actually prefer their pizzas to some otter big name brands. Their thin crust - tonight’s order - is as good or better than anyone else’s in the space. Folks are friendly even when they’re busy, and using the app is easy. If you haven’t been to Little Ceasars in awhile you need to give them a shop.”

“When shopping in Sault St Marie Michigan we head to KFC for lunch. We discovered their chicken pot pie. This is not available in Canada. It has a light crust filled with chunks of chicken, vegetables and gravy. It is a good size to be a complete lunch. Nice to have something that is not deep fried! This locations is always very clean and staff are friendly and helpful.”

The hostess that sat us seemed a little frustrated or upset, maybe having a bad morning, but the tone she used made it feel that way. The waitress was super friendly and kind. “This place has pretty good food and friendly servive, that's why it gets 4 stars. The hours just changed for the spring season and they are open for dinner on the weekends ( definitely check their hours). During the winter they were open for breakfast and lunch. They have good pancakes and the pierogies Breakfast skillet is really good. The U.P. Cranberry salad and the pulled pork sandwich are also pretty tasty. Smelt was a special on the menu and my husband enjoyed it. There is a central fireplace that keeps things comfy in the winter and I believe there are few tables outside by the river for warmer weather dinning. There is a bar in a separate area with seating. The service is friendly but I do believe each meal is made to order. With that said, when it's busy you may have to wait just a little longer than normal. I may have marked it lower because of the occasional wait and the fact that there aren't a whole lot of "dinner" style meals on the menu. But in this area, I believe it can be very hard to judge the flow of customers and and I think I'd prefer my food prepared for me when I get there instead of a few days prior. I have been satisfied with my appetizers and meals each time...so 4 stars it is.”

“We came from our stay at Bay Mills Casino for a late lunch. We had an excellent, friendly young lady. Hubby had the small Supreme nachos that were a tasty, big meal. I had boneless wings & tater tots with an order of cheddar cheese curds/bites. My food was tasty, with the exception to the cheese bites; they remade the curds, but they still weren't quite right. Nice place to get homemade soups, whitefish, burgers, whitefish tacos, etc.”

“I came in here a couple of summers ago for breakfast. The prices were very reasonable for what you got. The atmosphere was pretty cool too. You can tell that the building is somewhat old. The waitress was very helpful too, as we were looking for a store that had bug spay because the flies were so bad while camping. Overall, this was a great experience. They are one of the only restaurants in the area, so if you are looking to get a bite to eat somewhere around De Tour, Mainsail might be your only option.”
