“We're visiting from out of town and had a company gathering. There were very few gluten free options other than steak or salad. There were two servers working our table of 12 and it made everything a lot more chaotic. The older server kept scolding the younger server which was off putting. For some reason, the bill was split into three different tickets which made things even more complicated for everyone. On tap beer was good and everyone who had the lasagna seemed to enjoy it.”

I tried the Ox Tail based off a recommendation from the staff, and it did not disappoint. In fact it was a wonderful surprise and absolutely something I plan to get again. “Place isn’t what it used to be. Service is lacking BIG TIME. I started with Applebees at this place and now work as a Key/bartender/server at another location in California. Bartender tonight was great even though my perfect margarita took a while to get to me (probably 10 minutes). Moved to a table when my parents arrived and waitress was very nice however it took a long time to even get waters. She had taken the food order before even bringing drinks and then proceeded to walk away without taking my order. Only was it when she returned with the drinks that she took my order. Food was decent. Steak was over cooked and I suspect it was because it was held back waiting for the rest of the food to finish since it was rung in later. Salmon was crispy on the outside but otherwise it was good. Didn’t get silverware until after food arrived.There were only 8 tables in the entire restaurant but service was SLOW! There were several parties of individuals waiting in the front to be seated with no host in sight. No one in the entire restaurant staff wise seemed to care too much about being there and lacked enthusiasm besides the bartender. I love Applebees and have worked for the company for several years but this would be unacceptable in my book.”

“A fantastic Mom and Pop diner! Swedes Restaurant has been around seemingly for ever. I prefer to go to breakfast there rather than dinner. Weekends during peak times, there is usually a wait to be seated. The staff are well trained and friendly. The food is prepared as it should and served promptly. If your in mulliken and hungry stop by and grab some home cooking in a local small town eatery experience.”

“We're visiting from out of state for a wedding. Upon looking up the various pizza places in the town, we settled on Jet's because they seemed to have a style of their own...and holy cow they do! Friendly and informative staff with pizza to die for! Crispy crust with delicious sauce, cheese, and a crust option that knocked it out of the park. I had the Detroit Deep Dish (small) and it was more than enough for myself. Could not be happier with this location and cannot recommend it enough.”

The server however was apparently to busy to check on my empty glass for almost 15 minutes from when I emptied it. Then I waited forever just to get the bill tjo pay and leave.”

There were plenty of other fast-food restaurants around but we opted for Wendy's. They must be doing a really good job because their drive-thru line was full of the entire time we were there and the dining room was pretty busy too.”

“I had something called Belt Buster breakfast. Breakfast is served all day, which is terrific, because it is my favorite meal of the day. It came in a short time, and was, for the most part, very good. The over-medium eggs were almost perfect (which is the best I ever hope for), the pancakes were really good, bacon was perfect, and the sausage gravy was outstanding. I did not care for the thin, dry sausage patty, but link sausage was good. Hash browns were OK, but I forgot to ask for crispy ones, so that was my fault - my friend really liked them. This place is famous for pie, and I think the reputation is well-earned. I had Rhubarb Crumble, and it was to die for. The Raspberry Pie was too tart for my taste, but that may be the norm: I had never had it before. The service was good, and the place has a homey, family friendly atmosphere.”
