“Here's a thought trip advisor, perhaps, local guides that could not tell you the difference between a Richebourg and a Knudsen Erath have zero business even being able to review a place they feel their intelligence is threatened by. I have yet to visit Nancy Kelly's but I plan on it this July. The menu and wine list is a map to success . IF you can read it, Sadly many here especially the local guides cannot, Dawn Witmer and Donald Korsorski, that means you, travel sometime out of the county and Donald..no one really cares about your walmart review . “Locals recommended this place for their chicken. While the chicken was good and the service was good, the food was average and a little pricey for average. It had been built way up in our minds and so it was a bit of a let down. However, the ducks swimming in the plastic pond was more entertainment than a person should have. And the ducks wait put back of the restaurant for hand puts from kitchen staff-too cute!”

“Came for lunch while I was in town and was not disappointed. The food is authentic Mexican with delicious homemade chips and salsa. I also loved they served Coke in a glass bottle, so cute! They did only have 1 waiter so it took forever for our dirty players to be cleared and to get checked out once we were done. I was also not impressed with the inside decor.”

“Very small restaurant and a favorite with locals! Cozy decor with amazing art in the walls. Service is efficient and attentive. The menu is small yet well put together. All the dishes we had were well prepared and tasty. The rustic salad was well dressed and flavorful. The August in Detroit burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and tasteful. The Parmesan and panko crusted perch was so flavorful and moist. The Reuben sandwich was delicious, with tender corned beef and good bread.”

“Very nice place with great views, lots of room. We had an 8 pm reservation but had traveled all day and were tired so we went a bit earlier... 7:30. We explained our situation and they immediately seated us, served us promptly, and quickly presented the check when we asked for it as we were finishing our meals. We just wanted to get back to our hotel and relax and we very much appreciated Stafford's cooperation. My walleye was delicious. The whitefish/perch combo was so-so. Beer and iced tea we're very good. Dinner rolls also very good. Waitress was excellent. If we get back up here, we'd definitely eat here again.”
