Casual restaurant with good food. The smoked brisket was excellent. Moderately priced - brisket was $24. Service is a little slow but we all enjoyed our dining experience.

The food was great, but what I really want to talk about is the service. James, our waiter, was so unbelievably helpful and polite. It's been a month since I was here and I still can't get over how attentive he was. If you don't go here for the amazing food, please go just to experience excellent customer service. Will be back next time I'm up.

Flavors are good but for the price I'd expect a better cook. Both were quite overdone. The Pork Porterhouse was redone, came out juicier but still well done. Will still definitely go back though. BBQ prices are good and lunch menu is amazing.

Had dinner at Smoke and Porter. Great service, drinks refilled quickly. I had the smoked chicken. Really good with the sweet BBQ sauce. My wife had the ribs, I tried them. good smoky flavor as well. This place is an undiscovered gem.

The food here is crazy good. A truly high end taste that I have paid double the price for on a regular basis. The fish and chips were lightly battered and were fantastic. I'm not a big fan of fish, but this dish was really good. My wife had the Caesar Salad, and it was phenomenal. The lettuce was actually baked for a short time. It had a smoked taste that I didn't know was possible. Their bourbon selection was very good as well. I had a neat Basil Hayden, which was nice. We're not from the area but we will stop here every time we visit from now on.
