“This place was absolutely wonderful. It was only my 2nd experience with sushi and the staff was patient and eager to answer my questions as to what was what. Very friendly. The flavors were great. “Tried this place again for lunch. My bro and I split 2 sandwiches, the french dip and the Havarti & ham. Both were pretty tasty. The coleslaw side was just coleslaw, but the blueberry applesauce was delicious. I'd say it was a 70-30 mix of apple to blueberry. Definitely blue in color.The real winner was the cherry crumb pie that we took home. Cherry isn't usually my favorite, but this one changed my mind.”

“Really tasty subs at a reasonable price for how much meat is on the sandwiches. Great selection of hot sauce if that's your thing. Only been there during lunch, which seems to be their busiest time, but their staff seems to still get food out in a timely manner even with lines out the door. Very friendly employees who greet each customer with a smile, and wish them a good day! I highly suggest this restaurant to anyone downtown looking for a quick bite to eat that also fills you up! Their soups are also very good, though a little pricey but the pairs option is well worth it!”

“Had a staff luncheon here. The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and didn't take long to order. I had the Aladdin platter, which came with a soft drink. The portion was enough for 2-3 meals, and did not take long to be prepared. The staff was friendly and the cook went out his was to ask me how my days was while fulfilling orders. The restaurant was very busy and I thought that was a nice extra gesture.”

“The overall experience was good. When I first walked in two homeless men aggressively asked me to get them food which was a turn off. I told the staff and they took care of it ASAP. I got the gluten free vegan options with a sweet and savory option. The sweet was everything I hoped for and the savory was okay. I wish the mushrooms and other insides were flavored because it tasted like they had no seasoning. Would go again and am very thankful for the vegan and gluten free option!”

“I come here all the time for lunch. It's usually pretty busy during lunch the lunch hours but the wait is not bad at all. The staff is very friendly and the food isn't bad either. I usually get the enchilada armor but macho nachos are also a good choice and with large portions. I would definitely recommend this place for a friend if they want Mexican for lunch.”

“Thai Village Rice with Tofu and shrimp (no meat) and it was AMAZING! Slightly sweet and definitely spicy (although I asked for mild) but definitely great tasting. Who cares about the mood, I went for the food. It was also affordable if one compares the amount given for the price you pay. I do recommend this place, it has my stamp of approval. I was skeptical at first as I do not like olives, but just after my first bite, i fell in love with that burger. Their club fries is definitely something to have. “Tiny little diner with unique food options. You will definitely have to wait especially on a weekend morning. There is indoor and outdoor dining. They have an extensive menu for breakfast and a large and cool street taco combinations. When I went they had a gluten free daily special of a banana waffle with coconut cream. They were nice and customized it for me with toppings from another menu item. How could you not add bourbon banana fosters to it? Their servings are large and filling and they have some really fun sandwich options and I drooled over the loaded fries. Everything is made from scratch and cooked right in front of you. When I return to Michigan this is definitely going to be one of my first places to hit for a sandwich to go and hit the river trail. One of the tastiest places I've ever been and a hidden gem.”

“I've been to all the BBQ places in the Lansing area and Saddleback stands above them all. The service is impeccable, very friendly staff. The BBQ ribs and brisket are smoked just right along with the seasonings/rub. Took my daughter's there today and we had a fantastic time sitting outside in the sun. Also I should add, the bathroom is modern and super clean. Something I can be picky about when reviewing a restaurant. I recommend to all who are looking for good BBQ at a fair price.”
