“We were allowed to bring our little dog outside and eat on the patio, which was great. Although there was no music for ambiance, it was quaint and wonderful. The manager Martìn took care of us and was great. Everything came out very quickly and was delicious. We tried the half size nachos, which was a perfect size for two to share as an appetizer. For lunch we shared the Ismael chicken and shrimp plate and added onions and the taste was amazing! The decor inside is so colorful and makes me feel like I’m in Cancun Mexico.”

“I've lived and ate brisket in Austin Texas, this is the first time in Michigan I have expirenced brisket as good. I like the sausage but wish it was made in house. The coleslaw is awesome with cracked black pepper added at home. The pork grinds are fresh and have a perfect balance of spicy seasoning. I will most likely be eating a pound of brisket from here twice a month for the rest of my life! No photos because I ate it all and photos we not the priority.”

“We called at 3 pm yesterday and ordered 7 large pizzas to pick up by 5 pm. You said they would be ready at 4:40 pm. My husband walked in at exactly 4 :40:pm and they were ready , all made as ordered and hot. Our guests arrived shortly after 5 pm so I had placed them in a warm oven to keep warm.. “Food is good, but what stood out more to me was how clean the place was, and how much attention the manager was paying to the employees. They were training a new person, and I heard him making sure that the rest of the team was supporting the new person. I'd ask the question about a menu item, and the manager told the cashier to get me a sample. He was just really paying attention to the quality of their customer service and I appreciated it. Even the parking lot was neat as a pin.”

“Stopped by on a cool, overcast Sunday evening when everything else was closed. Only one other couple in the restaurant, which was fine with us. Service was good, prices very fair, and I loved the food. My wife had soup and some rice cause she was not feeling well. I had fried shrimp and scallops which was excellent. Their rice was so good I asked for seconds. Really liked this restaurant, only minor complaint that we had was that my wife's soup was not as hot as it should have been when served. Other than that, a good place to eat.”

I have been eating here since I was in high school, my dad was working in Lansing, and used to bring home leftovers for us. Even cold, the food is amazing.... So, 15 years later, the food is still just as killer! They have a cooler with fresh fish, so you can either have them cook it, or take it home to cook. I always have them fry it for us, because it is amazing. We had the jumbo fried shrimp and ocean perch, which were both superb! If you aren't a fan of seafood, the crack chicken is always on point, so definitely try that as well. Call ahead if you don't want to wait, this place is quite popular, so there are usually several orders ahead of you. Bottom line, this is the best seafood in Lansing.”
