“My husband and I along with our 3 year old stopped here for dinner. Our server Shelia was friendly, and attentive. We ordered the lobster bisque and prime rib dinner. Everything was perfect and we made it through the meal without our 3 year old having a meltdown thanks to Shelia's attentiveness. We will definitely eat here again if we are in town.”

“The food is of a typical buffet quality. Good but not great. The parking area is very tight and spaces seem limited at times. The interior is nicely remodeled and modern looking. Even though it is right on US23 it can be easy to drive by. It does have a very nice view of the tawas bay however it is obscured by the parked vehicles from inside the restaurant.”

All the vegetarian options, are priced the same, ($11.00), and they came with guacamole or avocado, except one??? (The option I would have liked was an additional $4.99 for the guacamole). I am not sure as to why this is. Nice ambiance, good food, reasonably priced for the size portions, and quick service. I definitely will be back.”

“Whitetail Cafe is a delightful hidden gem! It’s tucked away in the small town of East Tawas and I found it by chance as I was at a shoe store nearby. The food is excellent, each item is properly prepared...delicious and served promptly. We liked it so much when we went here on Monday that we came back on Tuesday and Thursday this week also! The two mascot deer heads are adorable with the shirts/hats they have on. I love deer so when I saw this place, I had to try it.....finding out how awesome it is was a huge bonus! Try the Big Buck breakfast or the Button Buck breakfast. Also don’t miss the chili or the burgers. I took 5 orders of chili home and put in the freezer...delicious! All I can say is Wonderful......about the Whitetail Cafe!”
