“Staff was patient and helpful in me, a first time visitor, decide on and order my food. The guy behind the counter was friendly, humorous and not pushy at all. The food: absolutely awesome. I ordered a tofu pad Thai dish and was pleasantly surprised by the quantity AND quality of the food. For only $9 it was a great deal! They bring the food to the table, they clean up the dishes, they refill your drinks, it’s like a sit down restaurant but with a walk up order station. I will definitely be coming here again! “Went there for lunch on a weekday. We we're one of only maybe 4 tables. Service was slow, we ended up having to just get to-go boxes when our food arrived so we weren't late back to work. Grilled cheese sandwich flavor was pretty good but bread was burnt on one side. One in our party ended up having to go find someone to get our tabs taken care of because our waitress went MIA. Not sure it would be a first choice to visit again for lunch. Maybe it's better during a busy dinner rush.”

“We recently moved to the area and have been trying out all the local restaurants - this is probably our favorite so far. We stopped in with our two kids, and had a great experience. The service was very friendly, and they were extremely accommodating to our 2 and 4 year old (who were in rare form). One of the owners stopped by and talked to us about our experience, and was very warm. The place looks upscale but is incredibly kid friendly. As for the food - my wife was able to order off menu and get a Salmon Cesar Salad which was great, and I enjoyed the Pimento burger I ordered - too many green tomatoes but still extremely tasty. The kids food was superb - fresh battered chicken and a hand battered corn dog that were awesome. Good beer selection as well. Highly recommended.”

“We all know that Real Food Cafe is a great breakfast place, and therefore we going knowing that there will be a wait. For an after-church time, we surprisingly didn't wait more than 20minutes for a table (win!). Our waitress was friendly and my coffee was great (not the cheap diner stuff, but real coffee!). We decided to split a sweet and a savory dish because it was impossible to tell, in the moment, what we were craving. Let me tell you, the pancakes were MASSIVE! Think the size of a medium/personal pizza, stack of 3 or 4. GINORMOUS! We got the Cinnamon Roll Pancake and the Veggie Hash Skillet. Pancakes were soft and had just the right amount of cinnamon and icing (I did not need to add syrup, ate them "as is", my friend was able to add syrup). The veggie hash with whole wheat toast was perfect amount of savory (so many veggies and cheese!!!) Love this place!”

“I was greeted warmly, and throughout I felt very welcome. I was not rushed. I got the 4 wings and fries. It was delicious. Absolutely delicious. perfectly cooked, juicy, breading tasted great, it had a really home cooked taste to it and that's something I look for in fried chicken shops. the only thing I didn't like was that I got the 4 wings instead of the 6 but that was my choice. I won't be making that mistake again though, I wish they had an 8 piece! Definitely returning.”
