“One of my favorite places! The staff is so friendly and kind, the sour beers are awesome, & their food in incredible. I have a dairy allergy and their dairy-free cheese is awesome & would definitely recommend. We had it on the 'South Pacific' pizza and it was so flavorful. Prior to knowing about my dairy allergy, I also got an order of nachos and it was one of my favorite things on the menu, but honestly everything I have tried here is great. :)”

“After a night on the town, this place has some of the best pizza by the slice or pizzas in general, in GR. Always busy, but they roll out a great selection to keep ya eating right pretty quickly. “When I checked in, I was asked about the breakfast vouchers ($5 for beverages and any menu entree), but I needed to check whether the options satisfied food allergies in our party. I was told I could add these up to midnight, and could check the menu and ask questions in the restaurant prior. It was a fairly hectic moment at check in [LPGA tour in Gra d Rapids, baseball tournaments, soccer tournaments, PRIDE events - all good, but busy]. When I came down later (in a lull) to get breakfast vouchers, the front desk staff actually said, "So you were able to find items that worked for your food allergies on the menu?" And he even remembered our room numbers! Talk about impressive! Our waitress, Betty, was informed about the cooking process and also brought the food allergy item out first; we were impressed again. All in all, a good stay in our books!”

“This place is just great. Wonderful food and ambiance. I ordered two of the open face sandwiches and they were awesome. She got the pork shoulder which was equally good. Every ingredient tasted very fresh and prepared from scratch. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We got right in with no wait during peak time on a Saturday night. They have a lot of seating and the outdoor area is great. Definitely a place to hit in Grand Rapids”

“My wife and I tried this restaurant yesterday for the first time at the recommendation of a friend. It was phenomenal! We got the Social Nachos, it was superb and massive! We brought half of that home so we could eat our entrée. My wife got the Patty Melt, it was very good, great sauce. I got the Social Philly, it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had at any restaurant...and I've been to a lot! Well done to the chefs, and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. I'd recommend to anyone. Well done! Keep it up. *Update, went again with 3 friends on 6/10/19 who had never been here. We got the Social Nachos for an appetizer, and the chicken and waffles, mac n cheese skillet with shrimp and peppers, and some tacos. All were fantastic!”

“Crepes are one of my favorites!! This place does it amazingly. Savory or sweet... Get one of each. I want to try near every crepe on the menu, although I have not tried a breakfast one as they are only served till 11a and I have not made it there earlier than that yet... But it's on my list of things to do. The campfire was a delicious warm smore in crepe form. The Mediterranean was a vegetarians dream with a to die for red pepper sauce. They are made to order so the Tuscan w/o chicken and tomatoes made this veg's mouth water with all the caramelized onion, savory pesto and lite Tang of the balsamic glaze. I love East town and the building is even cuter.”

Whether I order their famous Cottage burger, a wet burrito, or just about anything else, I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is warm, relaxing, and comfortable.
