What a dissapointment! First of all, the service by the host was stellar. I made a mistake when reserving for Restaurant Week, which was accommodated by the host. I decided to order the peanut noodles. The wait staff warned there had been some complaints about it. Since they used to have Great Pad Thai, I thought I would chance it. It was completely without sauce or flavor. The waiter offered to replace it, but my appetite was gone. The only reason I have it 3 stars was because of the host and waiter. Worst meal I have ever had there. Chef should be ashamed.

Very nice atmosphere met with excellent food and service. The special walleye was the favorite, but the sablefish also impressed. All the flavors were spot on and complimented well by excellent cocktails and sake.

Pacific Rim is one of the best places to eat in Ann Arbor. Great menu, very fresh, always good! The variety of appetizers and main dishes is very nice, also good to share a few things. The drinks are good also! I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Personally, I think this is the best restaurant in Ann Arbor. The food, service, ambience and bar are all awesome - or better. I have had food experience here that I have not had elsewhere. For instance, the calamari was actually tender, not chewy, and very delicious! The persistent attainment of perfection was remarkable! each bite that i took, i actually wanted to pause and let the flavor linger! When I mentioned the excellent service to the owner, he said many staff had been there 10-15 years. He must treat them right to receive such loyalty, and they return the favor.
