“This is a place that isn't lying about its name. anything you get in the stuff size will be more than sufficient to fill you up. It is a lot of food for a good deal, I can only eat one half of a stuffed burrito and always take the other half home for later or to share with my girlfriend. Basically everything on the menu is good and you can have candy bars brought in to be deep fried which is a nice treat for later”

“While the inside is simple and not much to look at, I give this place a 5-star eating on the sheer greatness of it's food choices. Not only is it super delicious and affordable local Chinese food, but they can make everything on their menu vegan!!! They have a really tasty soy meat substitute that my partner and I are addicted to. Because any menu item can be subbed for the fake meat, I have endless options here. They're dinner portions are also huge, I have never finished it in one sitting (so great for sharing or hey, two meals!) I typically just call in for pick-up, however I think they also do near-by deliveries.”

“One of my favorite places to unwind for a beer, or meet friends and family for any reunion/ night out. There is an active fireplace going on cold nights. “The worst thing you can say about this place is that it is a bit basic. The food is good for the price and they have nice seasonal menu items. The feta bread is superb (skip the deep dish, it's indistinguishable from the standard and a $1 more). It's great on Friday nights because you don't have to wait a half hour like everywhere else in Depot town, but it's still a totally good place to grab a bite.”

“I'd say I have a wide range of tastes and I like food from many different cultures, but Mexican food has always been one of my favorites. Depot Town is known for good restaurants, so I wasn't surprised when MAIZ lived up to what I'd heard. Fajitas are my favorite, so I had the chicken with corn tortillas. There was a great dry rub on the chicken while the fixings were fresh and flavorful. I also tried their classic margarita. Good mixer flavor but a little weak on the tequila side. My girlfriend had the vegetarian quesadillas. I tried some of it myself. Great flavor. The sauce drizzled on top was especially unique. I'm always surprised when vegetarian options for food that I normally order without dietary restrictions taste just as good, if not better than the "normal" option. Service was fast for a sit down restaurant and our waitress was completely on top of things. There's a nice atmosphere inside with outside seating as an option. Happy hour is Monday through Saturday (half off appetizers and margaritas). On Sunday, kids under 10 eat free. Definitely planning on going there again.”

“One of the go-to places when visiting Ypsilanti. A college town vibe, very laid back atmosphere. I was seated outside at night and the way the atmosphere was set up was relaxing, it was a bit difficult to talk since there were parties around us, but easily fixed once they left. It took a bit of time for our server to come get us, but understandable since they were so busy. Drinks and food came in a timely manner and it was decent. Overall a good place to go to.”

“Been going to this place for years on the weekends. Normally great service from most of the wait staff however one person in particular can be fairly rude. And I’m not the only person on here who has seemed to have the same experience. We were at breakfast as a family and seemed to be in a hurry which I understand but that doesn’t give you the right to be nasty because you’re frustrated you have a busy restaurant on a Sunday... I get she was in a rush but was it really necessary to roll your eyes when we asked for a minute?”

“God i love food guys me being a foodie diva i try different places with my kiddos i ordered the fish and fries with a side of okra i love the way they fry fish its extra crispy (sidenote: most fish places fry the fish in the same grease so if you are allergic to shellfish like my youngest i wouldn't suggest it/ i gave him a piece of my fish the next day his face was broke out. Great food though very well seasoned”

“The best Cheese Steak hogies in the Ypsilanti Ann Arbor area. I had the cheese steak with hot peppers. They are not too hot but just right. I came back to this place to get one after 35 years as I live out of state they are as good as they have always been. This is a historic landmark and a hidden gem in Ypsilanti. “Food was what you'd expect from Applebee's, which is straight forward and should be easy to execute, but we waited for a very long time for our food and the restaurant wasn't that busy. “It is a very simple "Tex-Mex" like place. The food is fresh and have a good portion. The staff is extremely efficient and friendly. The price is fair (Especially, with all the discount you can get then and there). I really like the different salsa sauce. It is a very small, but it is never full so it is a nice place to hang. It is very clean - The bathroom are well maintained (with a changing table in the men's one!!!).”
