“I love the warming house. Been going there for years. Food coffee, soups, salads and sandwiches. They have ice cream too! Combined with The High Hat this is the place to go when headed north. WH is a good place to read and chat and work. They have outdoor seating, a dog park, expanded bathrooms. They also have really tasty seasonal coffee drinks. Highly recommended.”

“Gordy's is an amazing burger joint for lunch and dinner( really one of my favorites to eat at, but I live a good amount away so I go once a year) juicy burgers, great sides, not too expensive and a really comfy place to eat. There's also a nice playground outside along with a warming house that serves hard ice cream with tons of flavors. This is definetly a great place to stop if your road tripping. And this is the only location as it's family owned so don't miss your chance.”

“Very small seating area for a Sammy’s. Great pizza though, as always. Where this Sammy’s is unique is that they have the buffet on Saturday night until 8:30pm. I’ve never seen a Sammy’s buffet on Saturday night. It was excellent. Good pizza selection. Great wings. Good salad bar. And the pizza was delicious as always. If the buffet is every Saturday night, I’ll be stopping at Cloquet Sammy’s more often when I’m in the Duluth area for different weekends. It is worth the drive out to Cloquet.”

“Service was a bit slow and the food was so so. I ordered French toast with eggs and bacon for breakfast, and my French toast was borderline crunchy. Eggs and bacon were fine though. All and all, you get what you pay for. Cheap prices equals cheap food. It was definitely better than nothing at 5:30am but if your eating later when more venues are open, I might suggest going elsewhere.”

“Order the Cubano! First time visit while visiting family in town. The Cuban sammy is my go-to if I can't make up my mind. A place like this, I couldn't make it my mind because it all looked so good. I will say, though, it could be better. Why? Because I just had 2 lower wisdom teeth pulled a week prior so I still had very sore, medicated gaping holes in my mouth. Thus, I couldn't fully enjoy it. That said, the sandwich was delicious. The ham was quite a bit thicker than your standard Cuban (I liked the change from the norm but maybe a wee bit too thick), pulled pork was decadent with a great smoke flavor and had banana peppers AND pickles. Simply amazing. Even with my inability to truly taste and experience it, it was one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've ever had. And I had my first Castle Danger Cream Ale on tap to sweeten the experience! Can't wait to go back when I can truly devour some food from this establishment.”

“I always love a pizza from Papa Murphy's. I have never gone there to pick my pizza up, gone home, baked my pizza, and been disappointed. The last time I was there I was shocked at how quickly they were able to get our pizza done considering there were 6 customers in front of us. It was literally about a ten minute wait, which I didn't think was bad at all. Not only are they quick and their quality is great, but on Tuesdays they offer a $10 for a large signature pizza which is awesome. And, on top of that, they are the only place of their kind that accepts ebt or food stamps as payment. Well done Papa Murphy's and Staff!”

“The first thing I noticed walking in was the aroma, it was so inviting and just the smell of fresh coffee puts a smile on my face. Lots of comfortable seating and windows. Menu's are large and hanging where you can easily read them. The papa, mama, baby bear cups were displayed so I could easily decide what size I was going to get. So many choices too. And there is food!!! New person behind the counter and she had a wonderful smile. Fall special I had was banana bread breve. It was like drinking my grandma's homemade banana bread. Happy Friday to me. I will be back and there is a drive thru for convenience.”
