“We stop here for dinner everytime we go to the Gunflint Trail, we love it! The menu is unique, made from scratch, thoughtful and DELICIOUS! I had the best soup of my life here a few days ago. Everyone is super down to earth and welcoming. It has amazing views and is beautifully designed. Highly recommend stopping here for dinner. You can't beat it, summer or winter, it's the best place on the trail!”

“Great location - we have rented cabins in the summer and always enjoy staying at the lodge in the winter for snowmobile trips. “We've stayed at Cascade Lodge a few times in the last couple of years, and we love it. Top-most is the staff. Everyone--from the front desk, to the restaurant, to maintenance, to house cleaning--every single employee (and the owner) we've met has been genuinely kind, professional, helpful, and friendly. In addition, ultimately this is a place to sleep, and the beds and linens are superb. The restaurant is one of the best on the North Shore including an inventive menu and clever cocktails and well-poured Guinness in the bar. Overall, we'd like to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone at Cascade.”

“Gorgeous location! Food was quite good, I had a mushroom & swiss burger with waffle fries. The burger was very tasty, with the exception of the bun, and the waffle fries would have been better without the coating. My wife really liked her soup! There was no real wait staff to speak of, we had to go to the front counter to order your food. The prices are a bit higher also, but I understand location location location. 😊”
