Absolutely adorable! The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of a young lady employee walking around wearing her mask wrong. If you are going to wear masks you should have you nose and mouth covered...leaving your nose out doesn't exactly protect anyone...”

We ate inside on this visit and felt comfortable with our space. We had a friendly attentive waitress. The menu has something for all appetites. I got the Wild Rice Mushroom burger. It was delicious. We will return.”

“Wow! We're in town briefly, trying to take in local establishments - this was a hit! We had mini pizzas (about 6" each). My husband had the Feisty Pig (?) - seemed like a BBQ sauce, bacon, green onions & jalepeños. It was SO good! I tried the baked potato pizza (included, but not limited to garlic mashed potatoes, tomato, broccoli, green onion). Husband said the texture of the potatoes was off-putting, but if we lived in the area, he'd get used to it. I thought it was amazing! Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area!”

“Honestly, not a huge fan of Mexican food. Loath cilantro. Hot spicy food- no thanks. This place however, has a menu that can accommodate uncultured taste buds and those more suited to the exotic. My significant other loves Mexican food- the authentic stuff- and this is his favorite place eat too! I can not begin to describe how fantastic the staff is, quick, very careful to make sure your every need is met, friendly- honestly the best in the lakes area. The atmosphere is cozy, it’s a great place to have a meal and be able to talk, never feeling rushed. I wish they had more stars I could give!”

They had excellent desserts, I had the chocolate torte which had a nice rich flavor, my father had the custard truffle which also had a nice flavor and came with plenty of delicious fresh fruits. Restaurant was clean, and was not very busy when I visited. The online menu on google did not match the in restaurant menu, however, so I ended up getting the rosemary porterhouse pork chop.”

“My husband and I stopped in for lunch and it was very, very good!! He had the walleye sandwich and he thought it was the best he's had in a long time! We live in the Brainerd Lakes area and have had walleye at many places so that's saying something. I chose the Basil Chicken sandwich and it was also delicious. Will order it again and we recommend both heartily. The house soup today was a Russian soup called Soliyanka, I think. My husband had it and liked that, too. We will go back and will recommend The Lodge to others!”
