“I don’t know why this place doesn’t have any reviews... it absolutely deserves the 5 stars I am giving here. The brisket was tender with perfect combination of melt-in-the-mouth and smoke bark. Pulled pork taco was oh so flavorful; it is obvious that it’s heritage breed pork. Chicken tacos good too. Potato wedges - perfect. All the details were right too - queso fresco for on the taco, bbq sauces, etc.”

“Pig Approved strays from the cookie-cutter barbecue that you might expect. The blend of spices used to season their meats and sauces provides an excitingly unique taste. The brisket is exactly what you want it to be: juicy and tender. The pulled pork and ribs could use more attention as mine were dry and firm but still enjoyable. The sides were spot on. The coleslaw is not a lump of mayo and veggies but a light mix with a citrus dressing and cranberries for a little sweetness. The mac and cheese was not typically bland as I've come to expect but had the right amount of pepper to enhance the creamy dish.”

“Had a super busy day. Ordered pizza at 9. Would be ready at 9:35 walked in at 9:25 hoping there was a chance it would be ready early. Super nice guy said just a few minutes left and would bring it out to us. Was amazed! I hardly find good customer service anymore. Got home and wow! This is legit pizza!!!! Will be ordering often! Thank you pizza man!!”

“My go to store since I love 5 blocks away . But its RARE that you can go in here & there is hot food on the grill.... Very irritating. And when you ask to have something made , the reply they give is "we are done with cooking things for the day" . Which is BS, I've been inside numerous Holidays and they made me a soft pretzel anytime I've asked . START HAVING HOT FOOD MORE OFTEN PLEASE !!! Other then that, I love this location & most of the staff. T”

“LITERALLY THE BEST PIZZA IN MN! I tell everyone I know to go here, can't hype them up enough. The pizza and fries are SO good. It's unreal. I'm vegetarian and even just getting the plain cheese pizza and fries is *chefs kiss.* Plus the owners are so sweet! The best customer service and always puts a smile on my face. Cannot recommend them enough!”

“Amazing food and service! Would definitely order takeout from this place again. So far we’ve had their egg rolls, chicken wings, spring rolls, and the crispy pork belly dish. All seasoned well and very fresh! The spring roll has lots of veggies in it, which I love. The dipping sauces were also different from what we’ve had before and it paired really well with the dishes.”

“Absolutely fantastic food - something for everyone! We loved everything we ordered. Both salads were well done and great starters. I had the mushrooms and my partner had the sampler platter and both were incredible. I think the mushrooms were the best dish of the meal. We went during soft open so only NA drinks. This will fill up fast once they officially open.”

“Had breakfast here again before flying back home. One of the owners Jack was running the entire bar and restaurant! He was excellent along with the food! This will always be my main stop before flying! Even though Jack did an awesome job he still could of used some help! Keep up the good work Jack!”

“I came here during their happy hours on weekdays from 3-6 pm. Happy hour have free chips and salsa. Their taco was only $2 which was delicious. It did come with flour tortilla. Next time I’m going to get their meats because you can order by the LB and get unlimited tortillas (corn/flour). Plus their cotton candy margarita was delicious and sweet. What I enjoyed most was they have salsa bar where you can get as much salsa as you like. There was 3 types of salsa (avocado, roasted tomatoes, spicy) and chopped cilantro, limes, and onion. I would definitely come here again because food was amazing!”

“I read that Fire 'N' Ice suffered damage from vandals while sadness persisted in the Twin Cities May/June 2020. I am sorry that happened, you were innocent. May your business come back stronger than ever and may peace prevail.”

“I adore this spot! They prepare high quality dishes, their menu is decent, The chef in that restaurant is well trained, I love very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are always tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is helpful. I often go to this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it to all my friends.”

“Excellent authentic cuisine! Really impressed with the menu and complex flavors from each dish! We shared the Vegetarian/Meat option for two and chose the Ketfo and Beef Stew as well as Vegetarian sides - all delicious with a touch of spice. The staff was friendly and the restaurant is clean and inviting! I highly recommend this Ethiopian restaurant!”

“We went here for lunch and decided to get the "All In platter" to split between 3 guys, we had food left at the end, enough for another meal. The food was good southern style food. I enjoyed everything that I ate. The corn on the cob needed some help, but it's pretty hard to mess that one up. I suspect it was microwaved. Meat was well smoked and sauces were delicious. My favorite and chef recommended was the "sweet and sassy." I would not hesitate to stop in again, they had some really mouth watering sandwiches pictured on the website that I must get back to try!”

“This place is just wonderful! And real Jamaicans are cooking the food. Sundays they have brown stew chicken that you absolutely must have. But if you go in any other day everything else is just as excellent. I have to go back again to have a red snapper, but the oxtail the jerk chicken the curry goat the curry chicken all of these are so wonderful with flavor and not just topical seasoning. Hope you enjoy it was much as I do. Post some pics of what you had!”

“Very good seafood boil. It's not like Louisiana style, where it's super thick cajuny sauce but more like a Chinese buffet style. But head on shrimp, crawfish, mussels and snow crab legs are good quality. I will be going here a lot often.”

“My family we ordered Seafood platter #5 and it taste so good! I ate so much I felt like puking and had a food coma haha. It came in two big aluminum trays. The guy was also nice enough to give us free rice! We ordered online and when we got there we just had to wait a few more minutes. It was hot and fresh!”
