“To be honest when I first walked in the restaurant side I was a bit unimpressed, but when I headed to the bar side I knew it was the atmosphere I needed! Ordered a grilled Buffalo chicken sandwich and washed it down with a few beers. Waitstaff was great and though I may never venture through Virginia, MN again, I would definitely recommend!!”

“What the hey! We stopped going here for soo many reasons. We only came because it's now one of the rare places you can eat sitting down in beautiful downtown Virginia,during these times. It was amazing. The dark interior didn't stop us from finding a couple of winning meals. We had great mexican style food that included house made beans and rice. The salsa was outstanding. Very flavorful with a touch of sweetness. If you haven't gone here in awhile be aware it's changed for the better. The food I had was the taco/relleno combo. What a winner! Great flavor,good ingredients and generous servings. It was about 10 bucks a plate. Liquor is available.”

“My favorite bar on the Range! It’s always clean and has a good atmosphere. Bartenders are always friendly, personable, entertaining, & on top of their game; the second time I went there the bartender already remembered what I like to drink plus I didn’t have to remind them what I was drinking when I was ready for a refill! Met some many amazing people there and have always had fun while feeling safe & taken care of which is important when you’re a female alone at a bar! I’ve been to many bars and have never felt more welcomed than at Rainy, also I’ve noticed they seem to experience way way less drama than other bars which is a good sign that they take care of the environment to ensure we all enjoy ourselves! I’ve even seen the bartenders give someone a ride home so they didn’t drink & drive! & They have TouchTunes so you can play whatever music you want either using cash at the machine or downloading the app to use your card so you don’t even have to leave your seat! Even better if you get hungry they offer free popcorn or for a dollar or two you can even have snacks like chips, beef sticks, nuts & candy. They don’t have a restaurant anymore but they make THE BEST frozen pizzas I’ve ever had in my life! the pizzas are Giovanni’s brand which you can’t find around this area, chicken bacon ranch is my favorite or try their pizza fries!! Another thing I love about them is that they actually have a book of shot recipes and a book for cocktail recipes so you’ll never run out of new things to try! Overall I feel you can’t find a better bar! they never discriminate for any reason which I have also found to be a problem at other bars. So with all their great service & hospitality, the beautiful interior of the bar, big selection of wine beer & spirits, & the selection of food that you don’t find at other bars, they get 5 stars from me for making me feel like I’m at a second home”

“When I say this is the best Chinese food I’ve had, I Mean it. First of all, the cream cheese wontons were absolutely mind-blowing, they were steaming hot and crisp to the touch, with a velvety cream cheese filling that satisfied each of my taste buds and a crunch that added amazing texture. Next, the fried rice with an enormous portion that could easily fill 2 people at an AMAZING price. It had the perfect ratio of vegetables and meat and tasted incredibly fresh and savory. Lastly, the pepper steak with tomatoes. It came with a giant portion, I had two people eating and we had more than 40% for leftovers, the steak was perfectly cooked and tender, with the tomatoes being slightly sweeter and adding tartness and contrast flavors to the spice-filled peppery steak. Overall 15/10 Experience, Absolutely amazing service, especially to the breath-takingly gorgeous phone lady (I believe Cloie was her name), she was super kind and absolutely lovely, AMAZING Food, and a very pleasant vibe of the store overall. “I Love Dave's Pizza and they Love my Cash !!! I Live in Chisholm so when I happen to be in Virginia I pick up 4 Cheese, 3 Sausage, 3 Pepperoni And 2 Combination Frozen Pizzas. Great to whip up when unexpected Guests drop by. Oh and How could anyone swing into Dave's Pizza and NOT walk out with at least 1 Full Sub !!! Dave's is well Known for those Excellent Sandwiches and their prices are Wonderful to.”

“Table service was fabulous, our waitress was very friendly and she greeted us and told us about the daily specials. She recommended items that she enjoys herself. I went with the boneless garlic parmesan wings and they were phenomenal! I was there on a Thursday evening about 5:30 pm, there was seating available, but not many left. They are busy and they are able to keep the traffic flowing. The food came out in a decent amount of time. The atmosphere was family friendly considering it is a full service bar and restaurant. I will definitely be back to try some of their other food options.”

They also made the most stunning cake I've ever seen for my sisters gender reveal, and they were extremely helpful helping her choose and guiding her through the process. “Traveling for work I have passed this place many times and thought it would be a good place to try. Finally got to work in Virginia and coincidentally my hotel was next door. The atmosphere was rustic and inviting. Wait staff was awesome. knowledgeable about the menu and made helpful suggestions. Food was tasty. “Such a cute little cafe! Came here when heading up North and I am so glad I did! The cafe is super adorable. At the entrance they have books you can read while dining in. They also have a wide variety of pies! I ordered the spinach omelet with yogurt and grapefruit juice. The food came out relatively quick; everything was super hot and delicious. The waitress was very accommodating and helpful when ordering and checked in on us to ensure we were doing okay. The price for everything was VERY inexpensive. Breakfast for two was under $40!”
