“Second time at Hillside Kitchen. It is such a hidden gem! The SMOKED wings are just out of this world delicious! Today we tried the buffalo wings, curry garlic cheese curds, and the citrus jerk pulled pork sandwich. We have also tried the chips and dip with house made french onion dip(scrapped the container clean), and the wings with the Habanero Buffalo sauce & garlic curry dry rub. Oh and they have good blue cheese to go with the wings- the stuff with actually chunks of blue cheese. Which is great because the habanero Buffalo sauce has a nice kick to it! Definitely will be coming back!! The Chef has worked in a few kitchen around town and I love seeing the creativity he brings to his menu at Hillside!”

“Cute place to grab brunch with friends or get some work done! They have outlets and plenty of seating, but we just came to get brunch and loved it. Counter service and the food came quickly. We got the vegan hash (portion was a bit smaller than anticipated and was mostly potatoes), roast chicken sandwich w house salad (dressing was a good blend of creamy and balsamic and sandwich was delicious!) and breakfast croissant. Would come back!”

“Simply Magical Our weekend visit to Stillwater was gifted to us by our newlywed son and his lovely bride (a hint to how old we are). This inn is partly historic and partly newer. We stayed in the newer part; right on the river - and like I said, it was magical. Our room was very comfortable and clean, but the star of the show was the view from our 3rd floor balcony! What a contrast between the buzz of activity below and the tranquility of the waterfront. There are all kinds of shops and eateries in this quaint but bustling town, but there is also an amazing setting right on the river with the boats and the lift bridge as well as an occasional gondola floating by. It was so fun, and so relaxing. It's hard to thank those kids enough - the getaway was PERFECT!”

“Might be my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at. The hotel itself was so cute, the room was quaint and the decor gave such a historical feel. We loved all the natural wood elements and the photos in the hallway. The complimentary breakfast was very good and had a great variety day to day. The Current Restaurant was delicious and had lots of options in different price ranges. The staff was great and welcoming, and even called us one day while we were out to let us know how to get in the back way as the staff wouldn't be there when we got back. Overall such a great experience in a sweet little town. We will definitely be back.”

We ordered two Philly’s cheese steaks but unfortunately they forgot to put any cheese, so if you like your sandwiches without any cheese this might be a good place for you. I am hoping management is reading the reviews. There were also other several other ingredients missing in our order. However, the flavor of the pizza almost makes up for it. I have hope that this place will improve over time. I am willing to give this place another chance if they improve their service .”
