“This is the epitome of small town dining. Dated interior and menu bring you back to a simpler time. At lunchtime it's the senior citizen hangout and everyone knows each other. When I introduced myself to the owners they told me the history of my great grandfather that I didn't even know the name of. Truly a wonderful place that feels like sitting down with your pawpaw & mawmaw for a home cooked meal. Also their apple crunch is the tastiest thing in the whole world.”

“I tried this place for the first time this week with a few family members. All of the dishes were cooked perfectly and my bang bang tacos were excellent. All of the employees were extremely nice and the food was cooked fast and fresh. I’m looking forward to trying a few of the other dishes on future visits. My only recommendation would be to open for dinner on Saturdays since there are only a few restaurants left in the city now.”

“Came in on a late Tuesday afternoon. It wasn’t pack and got seated quickly. Menu was provided and a young woman by the name of Jade was our waitress. I was told by a colleague of mine that their steaks are amazing, so I ordered a ribeye, medium rare with spinach cream and French fries. When my steak came out, I didn’t hesitate and jumped right in. The steak was perfectly cooked and its probably the best steaks I ever had. Long story short, I WILL definitely be coming back. I recommend this place to anyone. Service was impeccable, shouts out to Jade for being our lovely server. *Note I wanted to take a picture of it and show you, but by the time I remember to take the photo, the steak was already gone.”

“I was in the area on business during the summer of 1970 - I always remembered this place. They had a buffet business mans lunch with all the seconds you wanted with iced tea for $1.25. These were the best tasting lunches ever had - nothing like southern cookin! The dinners were excellent too. I know this is ancient history - I lived the at Longfellow House which is mostly gone know - sorry to see that.”

A tad bit salty, but the flavors were perfect. The atmosphere is comfortably casual. Nothing fancy or pretentious about this place. If want a really great meal at a good price, without all the fuss, you will love this place! Update: 1/29/2021 They have moved to Gautier on Hwy 90. The new building is nice. Fixtures, tables and decor are all new. Nicely paved parking lot. Very busy, popular restaurant. The patrons from Pascagoula have followed them to their new location.”
