“OH MY GOODNESS!!! Y'all done ruined southern soul food for me. How am I supposed to go anywhere else and eat now? It was literally THE BEST southern soul food my wife and I have ever eaten. Philly melted in my mouth, yams were incredible, Mac n cheese was stupid good, the okra and lima beans were delectable, and the mango habañero wings were other worldly. Seriously you put your foot in it. Wash down with a sweet tea and a good nap afterwards. Thank you for some of the best food we've ever eaten. 😋 May God bless you all and your business. “First time in a couple years stopping by. Ordered the Catfish and Chicken plate and half order of “Large” butterfly shrimp. Everything tasted great. The Cole Slaw was awesome. Only reason they don’t get 5 stars was the shrimp were not large, probably (60-80’s per pound size). Will definitely be back. Hopefully I will get through on a Friday or Saturday when the seafood buffet is available.”

“I came in the waffle house on 2/1/2022 at 09:10 am. There was a skinny black girl on the grill. I got my food to go. I order 5 eggs, 2 slices of cheese, a side of bacon and a side of sausages. I wish I would have stayed and ate in. I watch her for about 10 minutes cooking other orders before she cooked mines. And seen how good the orders where coming out. Then when she got to my order. She didn't disappoint. My food was so good. If I would have ate in. I would have tip her also. I did my usual 3.00 tip to the waitress. But I have never tip a cook. I can't say if the food will be good again if I stop through here again. But she deserves a tip. Young lady! your food was fantastic. Thank you!”

“The blackened chicken sandwich is a slightly healthier change of pace from the battered-and-fried options, and has a nice flavor. One drawback: The chicken breast was balled up like a big meatball and was too small in diameter for the bun/too thick to be eaten in a sandwich. That may have been just a fluke, though. There was also a bit too much sauce, but the sauce was tasty. It was a good sandwich, just thick and messy.”

They have a bunch of desserts in a case, like lemon squares, carrot cake, an assortment of cheesecake, blueberry flapjack cake, and more. “I always order the impossible whopper the fry and sprite with no ice, and I use the app to get it for $7 dollars. It is always prepared like I want it and the fries are always hot and the sprite is cold even with out ice. I always pull out of line cause it a special order.
