“I was invited to watch my friend acting in a play being held here. Not sure how they typically host events at this venue, as it my first visit. The ticket included a "dinner" of sorts and had servers waiting for you to let them know your options. They wore gloves and cutlery sets individually wrapped. The food could have been warmer. When the show started, there were overhead fans blowing quite strongly down into the tables and for us that didn't like that, we had to just deal with it. The noise from the kitchen was ridiculous, even with their doors closed they're pretty loud in there. From running kitchen machinery to voices loud and clear talking and laughing. If you're going to watch a show here, sit at the front, trust me:)! Overall a decent dinner, decent venue and show all in one. Good for families, groups of friends etc”

“We just ate at Humphreys for the first time, and we were very impressed. I had the Cajun Burger. Plenty of heat without being overpowering. My wife had onion rings as her side. Oh my gosh, those were the largest onion rings I've ever seen, and they were great. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I also really like the attention to local history throughout the restaurant.”

“This place was pretty good. I stopped by here for a quick take out dinner to eat at the lake while camping. I had the beef lo mien and generals tso's chicken. The food was made to order. I was super excited about my to go container, it was divided....for people who don't like their food touching :)! Like I said, the food was good, normal sized portions, normal priced. Oh but one thing that stood out to me was the rice, I got white rice w/ my generals chicken and it was so good. It was soft and tasted like Thai jasmine rice. I will stop by here again whenever we go to the lake!”

Her specialty, Cheeseburger of course. As in, the best cheeseburger you probably ever had. Truly, a cheeseburger in Paradise. (No kidding, it true!) A variety of sides to offer. I had sweet potato fries. The burger was well prepared, cooked perfectly, the condiments were just right and fresh. The bun was fresh from local bakeries! Perfection in a basket. But, what else would you expect in Paradise, right! Bait, tackle, convenience items, camping food, novelties, and most importantly FANTASTIC food. Captain's Corner is the place to be!
