“Clean and fast service. It’s my go to place for food at Ward Parkway. Staff tries to maintain the place as clean as they can but some customers don’t clean up after themselves. No restroom in this place. It shares a common restroom with the other stores in the mall. It’s a bit of a walk so it’s either use the restroom before or after if you are to eat here alone.”

“Great staff. Looked like they are doing some remodeling. Prices are reasonable. Menu (posted above the riding area) only has comb pricing. You can just order sandwich without side! We are always looking for a good gyro!. It’s out of the way for us maybe would go again if we were some close but won’t make a special trip. We need a great gyro place downtown KC.”

“Today was not a good day for Charlie Ds apparently. We ordered a family dinner which automatically comes with fries and you usually get two additional sides..we ordered potato salad and Mac n Cheese..we didn't get either..only the fries...the dinner is normally enough to feed my entire family of 5 and to come back and get seconds..the fish was like scrap pieces given to us...the fries weren't enough for a "family." Maybe the virus is effecting their business as well...and until it's gone and maybe business is back to normal I won't be ordering any time soon..????”

“This place was way better than my expectations were for it going in. IT appears as a hole in the wall on a strip, but was surprisingly good. Maybe it was just the day I visited, but the service was great. My bf has been here a few times in the past and said that this time never quite compared. The guy was very nice, made great recommendations, and even made exceptions for dietary needs. While the food was very tasty, and the order was incorrect. I ordered the enchilada and soft taco platter, but they have me two enchiladas. I didn't actually notice until after, but didn't make a fuss since it was enjoyable anyway. It's not far from gas, trails, and other shops, so a great place to stop by if you are just visiting and need somewhere to stop. The enchiladas were a little small, but they have added extra effort to the culture that makes up for any misses. I'd need to give it another try to know for sure the quality, but so far, it had a good first impression.”

I am not vegan, but Thai Spice could convince me to try to be. Their unique combination of textures and flavors that made me longing for more. Their portions and pricing are great! Given that they use ancient grains for their wheats (good for people who may be gluten sensitive) you are getting a lot of value for such a great meal. Pro tip ask for Bolted Einkorn flour. Great things to come from Thai Spice, talks of meal prep options, cooking classes, etc. I will be back... So much more deliciousness to try.”
