“Does anything else need to be posted/said? I think NOT!!! On the way down to attend the wedding of my Niece in Ft Worth, TX March 2016 stopped in here. Was thoroughly impressed! Quality pork ribs, [top grade meat and not fatty at all, just the correct amount] meaty, seasoned to the T, however with the first bite could flavour the cayenne pepper rub on the meat. Cayenne pepper and I do not get along together! Luckily I had Tums with me and that set my stomach right again; it was worth the price!. As the side had Cole Slaw, also great, creamy, crunchy, grated carrots, well seasoned again. And a fountain drink to top off with. Not sure if I had a desert, was so impressed with the entree items. Establishment was clean, wait person helped me to deliver the food and drink to the well appointed functional furniture/table. Good selection of music in the background to eat by. I know the other BBQ (Arthur's) joint in KC, KS is where ALL the political candidates stop at, but it was a let down. “I get Mattie's at least once a week and often buy extra to encourage others to try it! This is likely my favorite vegan spot in Kansas City. I can never get enough! The food is amazing and unique, the staff is wonderful and friendly, and the service is outstanding. This is an incredible restaurant that has earned all five of these stars (and more)! If you've got a chance, definitely stop in. I personally recommend the nacho mac (made spicy, with seitan)!”

“Baba’s food was so delicious and fresh. We would highly recommend the sandwiches to anyone. The drinks were incredible. Way more than just your average lemonade so don’t pass these up. We got a few of the pantry items too and especially liked the Shatta and olive/sun dried tomato/feta mix. The pita chips were unlike anything I’ve had before and the atmosphere was wonderful.”

“First time trying this place, and it was excellent. I had the Smoked Pulled Pork sandwich, which was huge. Lots of meat, deep-fried Bermuda onions, cheese slice, three pickle slices, and what they describe as "strawberry" barbecue sauce. I have no idea whether or not it contains strawberries, but it's a red colored sweet barbecue sauce. This is really unique fast food place. I photographed the whole menu and included it. I should have photographed the food, but I was too hungry. We'll definitely be back. Update: I've been back a couple of times, and had additional items. I just added a picture of their tenderloin sandwich. It's HUGE! I included my glasses to give you a sense of size of this thing. And not only is it big, it's tender, juicy and flavorful. Seriously, the best tenderloin I've ever had.”

“Today I ate at KC Gyro Guys on Red Bridge Rd, KC, MO inside the BP gas station is so good! The beef platter was great and not greasy. I took a look and ate half in my car, the meat and rice were moist with the yogurt/spiced red sauce was excellent and a perfect blend, neither one overpowered the other, I will be back with my husband to try the other items. I recommend this joint you’ll be glad you did they’re super nice too. Enjoy!”

“Stopped in for something different because I was in the neighborhood on an errand. I am not familiar with Honduran food, but I love trying new things. This place blended into the surrounding block. When I stepped in, I was greeted with loud, raucous hispanic music. The guy behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful (he somehow pegged me right away as not being Honduran). He graciously shared some recommendations, and was patient with my questions. While I waited for my takeout, he engaged me in conversation a couple of times, and checked in to let me know where my order stood (it only took 20 minutes). The food was interesting. The Pollo con Tajadas included some overcooked chicken, but I enjoyed the slaw salad, fried banana, and pickled onions. The Baleadas Mixta was the favorite, and I hadn't had high expectations for it. I'd go back, but I would have to be adventurous and try some other menu items, too.”
