“Good first experience! I work nearly across the street a few days a week so it's always great to have new lunch options. I ordered at the counter and was given an accurate wait time for my food. I got the sandwich (Nashville hot) with fries & ranch dipping sauce and brought back to eat in my office. All were good! The fries are a pretty unusual cut that I was a bit suspicious of, but they were delicious. I love Nashville Hot Chicken while I wouldn't call this the best in St. Louis, I would say it's a very good an adequate execution of the dish. I'll be back regularly, I'd imagine, and look forward to trying the wings & tenders as well as some of the sides. Welcome to Kirkwood!”

“Conveniently located cafe in island strip mall between East and West bound lanes of Manchester Road. Sandwiches and salads are the main draw. I usually end up here for a business lunch as everyone can usually find something on the menu that is appealing or at least not objectionable. All that said, they do a reasonably good job with the food and they have several iced teas on tap. You'll wait for your food during peak times. They shout your name when it's ready. There is indoor and outdoor seating and drive thru.”

“First tried Chicken Out chicken while at a Blues game this season (2021). Super yummy! I saw that they opened this Kirkwood location, which is way closer to my house, so I was stoked to try it out. The Delmar location had shared a 'secret' menu item [Cheesy Chicken Fries] and I rolled the dice, asking the cashier if they had it there. Yes they did and it was GREAT! It was a ton of food - see picture - but was made fresh to order. Giant chunks of tenders, fries, bacon (BACON!) and oodles of cheese sauce. Lots of other goodies on the menu, so I can't wait to go back. Do yourself a favor and swing on by. :)”

I was with a Client he's not all functioned due to age and natural causes, and he didn't have mask fully on and a member at entry gave a direct order of "put your mask on." I understand covid-19 protocol yet there's a way to communicate and that's not a tone and wordage to use I feel towards anyone. “I'm gonna be honest. I wasn't particularly impressed by the menu in terms of dinner (at least for my preferences). I don't really want a sandwich for dinner, which eliminated a big chunk of the menu. That left tacos and entrees. I decided to focus on the entrees because they strike me as more of a dinner thing. I struggled to decide if I wanted BBQ, meatloaf, fried chicken, or fish & chips. I decided to go fish & chips and I was not disappointed! The fish was moist, the breading was crisp, and it was properly seasoned! The fries were like a slightly fatter version of Steak N Shake fries with a proper amount of seasoning (more than just salt). My parents had the salmon and they were both pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The beer selection is also very good!”

“The best ice cream ever! Dark chocolate salted caramel is my fave... peanut butter cookie dough is hubbies and, when those aren't offered, their standards are the best around. A little pricier than the grocery store but so worth it. If you don't eat ice cream that often and only have it as a special treat, you might as well get the best when you do. The counter pros are always helpful and kind. Service is quick and the eating area is usually clean.”

“Everything was excellent! My wife and I went on a trip for her work and the place itself was stunning, very beautiful. Everything was fancy, but not "make sure to wear a tux" fancy. Every waiter/waitress was extremely nice, as was the owner. The food was also great. I am unsure of the prices because the food was included in the trip, but the food was delicious! I had Lentil soup for the first time, some type of crispy chicken shish kabobs, and the custard in the picture. All were excellent. I definitely recommend this place.”

“I love the food but my experience this visit was not so great. If your gonna microwave my chicken breast it should not take longer than 10 minutes for a wrap. There was no one that ordered food before me. On top of it after the wrap was done the cashier had to ask the cook for the steamed veggies. I had a meeting I had to go to in 20 minutes from the time I walked in. After waiting 15 minutes for microwaved food, I decided I could live without steamed veggies, grabbed my wrap and left.”

“Googled mom&pop pizza. It took me to Kirkwood Pizzeria. I got the lunch special. Best side salad that I have had In a long time. Got an 8 in. sausage pizza. It was unbelievable. Tasted SO GOOD. This will be my pizza place when the family is wanting pizza. And they deliver!! We have been looking for a good pizza place and now this will be our go to when we want pizza.
