“We have been regular customers of the Shaved Duck since they opened in South City over 10 years ago so we were very excited to hear that they were opening a second location in Kirkwood! We had them cater our wedding at The Bluffs on Broadway this past Saturday, October 9th and everything was incredible! Pulled pork, chicken, brisket, mac-n-cheese, zucchini squash veggie dish and salad were our choices. All through the day, our guests told us that it was the best food they’d ever had at a reception!! Kudos to the the owner, Ally Nisbet and his staff for all of their hard work and enthusiasm- we had the best wedding ever! Thank you so much for helping make our day even more special. “There is almost always a long line of cars in the drive through. I recommend using their app to pre-order. They do not start cooking until you arrive but you do get to "jump the line" so to speak. You just press the "here" button when you arrive. The app uses your GPS to confirm that you have truly arrived. My wife did the ordering and sent me to pickup so I had to get one of the counter people to override the system. The service was super friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good, burgers, fries and shakes - hard to go wrong there. Don't forget to ask for the fry-sauce.”

“Happened upon this truck at the 370 Park festival Sept 18, 2021. Wonderful people and fantastic food! We loved what they had available. Apparently, so did everyone else. Ribs so tender they will fall off the bone. Mouth watering pulled pork and a host of other things. Cant wait to find this truck again to try more of their selection. “First tried Chicken Out chicken while at a Blues game this season (2021). Super yummy! I saw that they opened this Kirkwood location, which is way closer to my house, so I was stoked to try it out. The Delmar location had shared a 'secret' menu item [Cheesy Chicken Fries] and I rolled the dice, asking the cashier if they had it there. Yes they did and it was GREAT! It was a ton of food - see picture - but was made fresh to order. Giant chunks of tenders, fries, bacon (BACON!) and oodles of cheese sauce. Lots of other goodies on the menu, so I can't wait to go back. Do yourself a favor and swing on by. :)”

“Food is usually pretty good although not consistent, staff is okay although not always that pleasant, they had 1 good waitress that used to be there everyday but I haven't seen her there lately I think its safe to say most regulars probably miss her, she was the only friendly person there. I dined there today and they were out of fries, things happen but tell me something better than "yeah, no fries till the truck gets here", the other waitress always let us down easy if they were out of something. Will definitely come back but smiling needs to be in the training. I hope someone sees this and tells the staff or brings the waitress that used to be there back!”
