“One of the best food spots I visited while on business in St. Louis! I stayed at the Magnolia hotel. I needed a quick bite to eat before I headed to the airport and none of the surrounding options looked appetizing. I’m so glad I went here! I had the Thai sweet chilli wings and fries. The food came out quick and piping hot (temperature). It was about 10 wings and the edges were crispy and so were the fries. The service was very fast and attentive. Janice was my server. There is a pool table and bar. The vibe is very chill!”

“Come on a Friday or Saturday night to party, come back on Sunday morning for brunch! The place to be in STL for sure. Get a group together at night and get a table in the upstairs VIP mezzanine looking down on the crowd and the dance floor (and for a little extra breathing room). Come back for brunch and get unlimited mimosas and a truck stop to cure the previous night’s effects.”

“Brunch was nice there however the bartender tried to charge me 11.78 for a vodka and cranberry. I'm not sure if I'll go back”

“This place was amazing! I went on Friday for their happy hour special and it was such a wonderful first impression. There weren't many people there, but I honestly prefer that over struggling to find seating and feeling like a sardine. I had the Lou Juice, a rum punch, and quite a few chocolate milk stouts. Everything tasted great, the bartenders were friendly, and I'm definitely coming back again. Open Concept is a real treat!”

“I love this place for singing karaoke! The lights and disco balls are something else. Makes you feel like the place was formerly a strip club, but a great ambiance if you're into a super fun night out! Best on weeknights when the line to sing is much shorter.”

“Went back to Par for the first time in like seven years tonight. Exactly the same as I remember, which was great actually. They still have the super cozy lounge sofas and still serve late night pizza! Only problem here was that, in a half hour or so, all the same drunky mush heads from Napoli had invaded and were doing the same thing they did at Napoli - - linger around the bar, block walking paths, and not let you get in to close your tab out lol.”

“Tower pub is my favorite local bar. They have great drink specials, trivia and live music. They have free popcorn, pool tables, golden tee and bags. Their outdoor patio is one of the best in St. Louis. You have to go to tower pub.”

“Clarify the price system!! At The entrance, I asked if dinner included the price but he said we had a choice. What choise? I did not know we had to share the table with other customers. Dinner menu only has number that was actually price but hard to see. Music was great but food was rip off.”

“My friend group decided to venture outside of our standard bar happy hour comfort zone and try something new. Let me tell you, I will be raving about this place to anyone and everyone from now on. The atmosphere was very inspiring and inviting. The staff took time to explain everything on the menu and I was completely blown away by every drink I tried. To top that off I love the idea of spending time with friends and putting good healthy things into your body. No headaches or heavy feeling alcohol weighing you down. I'll be back :)”

“Interesting menu with an extensive wine/cocktail list. Appetizers were hit or miss but the entrees were excellent. We had duck, salmon and gnudi. All good choices. Beautiful setting. Nice outside area but space is limited so request ahead.”

“First of all let me start this review by saying please do not judge this book by its cover! On the outside looking in it looks like another little small restaurant but on the inside it is absolutely the most beautiful place. The decor is absolutely stunning. Now for the service... I know some people have said that they haven't had the best service there but this is my third visit and thankfully every time I am here I have not had a problem with the service whatsoever now I guess I should state for the record every time I have gone the place has not been packed so maybe when it is full others have a different experience. But I can't speak on that but let me tell you what I can speak on... they have their own house tea that is absolutely delicious if you don't drink that tea and love it I don't know what's wrong with you because well it is the Tea. Now I've had a lot of dishes here in everything that I've had here has been absolutely delicious but let me tell you something I think you should know I judge a restaurant especially a soul food restaurant by its macaroni and cheese and if it ain't right you don't ever have to worry about me spending my money at your establishment. I've been here three times plan to go there in two or three more days why? Because that macaroni and cheese is on fire! It truly blessed my soul. Miss Lillian and her staff have something amazing going on here... skip Sweetie Pies this is the place to be.”

“This is a great place to get a drink and enjoy a view of the city. They make a killer old fashioned. Their food menu is not too large but there is a great selection. I loved the brussel sprouts. They were crispy and just delicious. If you like beets the best salad was great. The combination of beets, goat cheese and mint- yum!”

“Service was great and I really liked that they were open late. Sushi was good and out of the group of 10, no one got sick. Winning! One of the court's didn't like sushi but we convinced him to try some more. He loved it! He had some kind of mango roll.”

“We had southwest egg rolls which were very good. We had the spicy shrimp appetizer, the shrimp was large and tasted very fresh, we did not feel the spicy mustard paired well with the shrimp, but alone, the shrimp was very good. I built my own burger, it was cooked well, quality meat, could have used some seasoning, but overall good quality. My only real complaint about the burger was the pickles. We have never tasted pickles like that and they were honestly putrid, that is the best description I can give because the pickles were that bad. So skip the pickles. My husband enjoyed his burger as well. We had good service. Lastly, the keg beer was not quite as cold as it should have been. Not warm, just not a normal draft temperature.”

“My wife and I went to BB’s Jazz, Blues and Soups last night (8/29) and it was an exhilarating experience. The musicians were first rate. By musicians, I am including The STL Shed band, it’s lead singer, Tish, who is a talented, entertaining , and engaging woman; and the participating audience members, who one after the other showcased their talents. I mean one person after another had a great voice or other musical talent. From singers to guitarists, to soprano saxophone player, to keyboardists, to drummers - first rate. This was a tribute night, so I don’t know if musicians happened to drop in - no matter- I thought it was great. Had ribs and they were very good, too. Also liked the beer. Highly recommended!”

“When I was staying at the Hyatt Recency, I looked forward to an enjoyable breakfast buffet. What I found, rather was a buffet lacking your essential breakfast items such as pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, etcetera. The sausage links, bacon, and breakfast potatoes were good, but the eggs were rubbery and seemed like they had been out for too long. Their bakery items were good, although a bit dry. The wait staff was friendly, but overall inattentive with refills and had to be chased down. Overall, the buffet was lacking and could be improved upon.”

“Happy Hour starts at 2:26 and it's well worth it especially if you want to try something new. Limited menu but EVERYTHING is good. The shrimp poppers are my best friend. And the bar tender made my drink perfectly (and I'm picky). This is my new go to spot when I just want to be a little boogie during lunch.”

“The outside patio is gorgeous with the lights hanging from the ceiling, however, it still gets fairly dark at night due to the small bulbs. The cocktail was very tasty and the seafood pasta I had the perfect amount of spice and the ingredients were fresh. Expect to pay a fair amount for a dinner for two here. Dress seemed lightly formal.”

“As you can see from the photos, this restaurant wasn't very busy at 3 p.m. on a Friday. However, don't allow that to deter you from visiting it! The reason why I took the pictures was to show you that it's quite a fine establishment. If you've never been here, I think you would enjoy the decor on the interior. Plus, they have outside, patio seating as well. I was actually here on a date and my date was heading to work shortly thereafter. Because of this, no food was ordered. As a result, I only had a flavored lemonade. If I recall, it was a strawberry lemonade to be exact. The server even gave me a free refill, and didn't even charge for that! For me, that's top, quality service! Overall, I enjoyed my time here (even though it was a very short experience). I'll be sure to go back and visit this place sometime in the near future. If you've never gone, you should absolutely go!”
