“Neat Japanese place that is pretty reasonably priced. We got 2 rolls, udon noodles, and crab rangoons for $40. The udon noodles were some of the best noodles I have ever had. I also loved the papi sushi roll. They had other options like ramen and fried rice as well as many appetizers. They even had beef options.”

“Fairly big selection of items to chose from. The owner isn't particularly friendly and sometimes an employee here and there isn't all that pleasant. They have decent hot food items and lots of hot and cold drink options. They could improve on the cleanliness aspects of the store. And, their ice cream bars and sandwiches are typically half thawed. It doesn't matter what time of year. Fix the freezer or get a new one! The fuel pumps are a little to be desired but the quality/source of the gas is good. *All my reviews are independent and are based on my own personal experiences with the aim of accuracy and being truthful. “It was enough for me to go to this place at buffet time and I was delighted. Today I went to dinner with my family, we had a general tso, walnut shrimp, curry chicken, peanut butter chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was delicious, the sauce has great quality. I will return many more times. I recommend it. Nice place to eat. 😋😃”

“I love this place! I live in Colorado but am in Nebraska usally about once a month. Every time I'm in Nebraska, I eat there at least once, if not 2 or 3 times, in a weekend. The only thing that could be better is the hours. Since Covid, their hours just aren't as good as they used to be.”

“For being what I consider "in the middle of nowhere" (I'm from the west coast), this was a great find. All of the food was tasty, I especially liked the chicken skewers, crab rangoons, and the sweet potato sushi roll. The selection is smaller than I am used to in a buffet, but the food was good enough to go back for seconds of many of the dishes. Reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: The dim sum and the wontons needed lids to stay soft, this is an easy fix. The styrofoam plates and plastic silverware were a turn off. So much waste!”

“The staff is great. Stopped in on my way to CO. I was not sure what I wanted and the person helping me at the walk up window made a fabulous suggestion. I don't remember what all was in it but it was yummy!!”

“We wanted something quick but not the typical fast food. This place was great. Food was very good and you got plenty. The employees were very helpful and friendly.”

“Good teriyaki, so glad we picked this place to stop for lunch. Place is clean, good food, nice staff, thumbs up!”

“Beautiful establishment that is very clean and welcoming. My server was fantastic and I wanted for nothing. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelet with American cheese and got cheddar instead. This is a common occurrence so I don't hold that against anyone but the cook . The hashbrowns are seasoned which isn't bad just caught off guard . You get into a routine and I would have skipped a step had I known . The flavors were all on point and I will return . 😋”

“I've been meaning to try a Freddy's on one of my trips out west and finally did. The burgers are all double smash burgers, the flavor is delicious. The shoestring fries are just ok, we added cheese and there was a generous portion although they were barely warm. The ordering process was the most frustrating. I wanted a malt and kept getting offered a shake so that's what I got. The shake was good with real berries in it. I'm not a big fan of double portions and would have liked any burger option in a single. The menu isn't straightforward with options as I would have liked the shake/malt flavor options next to them, instead there is a weird1,2,3 option on the bottom that makes it look like only concrete mixer choices. I stared at that menu and couldn't find a way for 2 people to eat lunch for under $30. This is fast food with table service prices. There is no "value" option unless you want a kid's meal.”

“Great experience! Quite the hidden gem in Kearney. We tried 3 different pizzas & cheese sticks - everything was hot, fresh & FAST! Amazing how they can cook their pizzas so fast & to perfection! Prices are that of a sit down restaurant, definitely not fast food. One recommendation- they have an extensive & unique menu. Next time I will study the menu online before going in. So many delicious items to choose from. Finally - clean restaurant & friendly staff!”

“Burger was ok. The fries were warm, not hot. Service was sufficient. When Burger King is hot and fresh, it's great! The problem is, it is rarely hot and fresh.”

“I wish I had stopped at a Runza before I tried this one. These things are good! Kind of a loose meat sandwich in freshly baked bread. Nicely seasoned too. Good prices and a friendly staff. I'll be sure to stop next time I'm going through that part of that country.”

“Been a while since I've been here, but the food is still absolutely fantastic. Got some tacos de lengua, which were a first time for me and they were to die for. Literally the best tacos de lengua I've had in years! It was so good too, that I totally forgot to actually even take a picture of it because I ate it so fast. I did however also order some Tacos Tejuana's and some Elote and I did get some photos of those. The service was fast, and the guy at the cash register was super kind. Place is a 10 out of 10 and probably one of, if not my favorite spots to eat in the entire city of Kearney.”

“Everything was as you would expect. I asked for soft scramble and received what I would consider an omelet. Also asked for a milk with my meal and didn't receive that either. 🙃 Flavors were fine..... Visit number 2 and I'm sorry but the food is just not very good . Grabbed an omelet this time and the vegetables were all but raw and it had some gross cheese sauce and the potatoes had a weird seasoning. Service was phenomenal 👏”

“The Hibachi Experience! TL:DR If you are looking for a bit extra for your evening meal, this is an excellent choice. Excellent food and great inclusive entertainment at the Hibachi area! Details: We ended up here on a week night about an hour before closing time. The crew was very polite from beginning to end, and we only had to wait a minute or two to be seated in the Hibachi area. We had a wide variety of orders for the chef - from chicken to shrimp to steak, and a few appetizers as well. (Crab Rangoon was pretty good!) Our chef was excellent, very good at his job of cooking, but also hilarious and very interactive with all of us at the table. The fried rice and vegetables were the best I have had at a Hibachi place - I think it may be because of the fresh garlic they added in while cooking! Shrimp was excellent, and everyone else commented on how delicious everything was. Note that this is an expensive dinner - $25 or so for a meal - but it includes the salad, soup, rice, veggies, meat choice, and a couple of shrimp! Everyone has leftovers at the end, so plan on two meals from that price. Come during the week for lunch specials if you are looking to save some money and still get the experience.”

“Stopped at the Whiskey Creek Wood Fired Grill in Kearney, NE on our way from Iowa to Colorado. Located just north of I-80 on 2nd Ave. The brisket (we got the same meal) came with 2 sides, and the brisket was VERY tender. We both REALY likes the beans, and yeah ... we travel this road to Colorado for vacation and will go out of our way to dine here again. The meals - 5 stars. Cleanliness ... 4 stars (men's room had lots of paper on the floor.) Our waiter - 5 stars.”

“The BEST barbecue sauces and turkey I've ever had! Their Raspberry Chipotle and Stupidasso (?! I think that was the name of their hottest BBQ sauce) sauce were phenomenonal. The turkey was so tender and juicy, busting with flavour. The size of the sides were small but I wasn't hungry after. I had potato salad and fries; the former was alright, the latter was crisp and well seasoned. The sauces were so good, I wanted to buy bottles of them which they sold in 16oz bottles. I highly recommend it. Their hottest sauce perfectly blends the heat of various chillies whilst still being able to taste them and the flavour of BBQ. The fried Oreos made a good dessert too. They're fried in doughnut batter, so are decadent. The owners (the family) running it were so friendly and accommodating. 100% a must-eat in Kearney!”

“If you're looking for good Mexican food then This is the place for you! Exactly what I was wanting for lunch. They have white queso which is impossible to find in Colorado. Delicious margaritas. Everything flavored to perfection. We had the Chimichanga which came fried nice and crispy covered in delicious queso Blanco. As well as the Steak Fajita quesadilla, which had to be one of the better fajitas I've had in a long while.”

“Outdoor seating or drive through. The cheesecake chimichanga was DELICIOUS, the other food on the menu looked good too. It was busy but they did a good job.”

“Opening day! Friendly Staff, pleasant atmosphere, good food. Arcade looks cool though I didn't try anything out today. Brand new, so kind of to be expected, but everything was very clean. My first time at a Pizza Ranch, so can't compare to others. Great addition to food options in Kearney! The pizzas I tried were all good, think I prefer the thin crust. Chicken was my favorite food item- crisp, juicy, flavorful. Background music was pleasant, upbeat, loud enough to hear, but not too loud 😀”

“Now THIS is what I expect from a Red Lobster!! Service was wonderful. Bryanna took really good care of us. Food was well prepared and served hot, store is clean and well maintained, and service was exceptional. The manager even came by to answer some questions we had. 😍 Thank you.”

“Really enjoyed our first visit. A fairly new restaurant on Father's Day, with a focus on different beers would be expected to be busy and it was. Had to wait about 30 minutes, but worth the wait. Food and beer selection was very good.”

“Waitstaff was friendly and quick, everyone seemed to be having a good time. The garden salad was fresh and the lettuce was crispy. The calzone wasn't too impressive, it seemed a bit void of ingredients, making it not worth the price. Beer was served quickly and at a perfect temperature.”

“I only ever come by on road trips, but looking at the few times I've been here, everything was great. I liked the coffee, and the cookies here were delicious, and I didn't have any issues regarding accuracy or temperature.”

“Super nice people, I am a huge God Father's Pizza fan but the express ones haven't ever left much of an impression on me. But this location was super yummy! And very friendly! We got there at 9:58 pm and the nice lady let me order a large pizza even though they closed in 2 minutes. The crust was perfect. It had a very yummy crispy on the outside but soft on the inside crunch to it. Taco was amazing. I will definitely be stopping again.”

“I was very surprised by this restaurant, especially the bar. Keenan offered great conversation and a fantastically strong version of an old fashioned. The Hawaiian pizza and truffle fries also gave flavors that were broad enough to satisfy while not being overly strong. I finished with something they call the milk caramel tower, never heard or seen of it, but apparently something common in Italy, and it was also delicious. I will be happy to return.”
