The best Veggie Sandwich I ever had! Freshly baked warm French roll with that great yeast smell of homemade bread - like the kind you may have made in elementary school. They take the time to finely chop the ingredients in the sandwich to create the best flavor while eating. The sauces on the sandwich are delicious too. I had the outstanding sweet potato chips that where super thin and light that came with a fabulous brown dipping sauce. You must try this place if you appreciate great food.
With all the great reviews, we were disappointed in the food here when we stopped on the road between South Dakota and Colorado. Our sandwiches were ok/good but certainly not great. The crust on the apple pie tasted like cardboard and the filling was similar to an apple purée.
Homemade bread that made for an amazing roast beef sandwich. The homemade sweet potato chips are delicate, not too salty and not greasy. To top off this friendly, clean place, we treated ourselves to a homemade rhubarb pie. Looking forward to going back.
Great little small town sandwich shop with friendly staff. The special was a Reuben sandwich with corned beef but I’m a pastrami guy and they hooked me up. I’m a picky eater and enjoyed my sandwich very much. We will be stopping in on the way back from Colorado for sure!
Stopped here on our way through Nebraska. Really glad we stopped. Sandwiches were large and delicious. Bread and meat were very fresh. The two ladies in the shop were funny, accommodating, and all-around a pleasure to interact with.
Note, the place currently only accepts cash.
