“I was looking for a restaurant that served catfish and found it through Yelp. My wife and I went there last week and took an order to go. To say it was wonderful is an understatement. Maybe the best we've ever had including while we were living in Texas and Alabama. We are going back tomorrow for some shrimp and grits which have been recommended to us. We met Donnell Freeman, the owner and his staff. Great people!”

“Besides the trek through the Cannery casino, which might cause long cancer or clutch your purse a little closer, Carve is a nicely appointed, modernly designed steakhouse. I wouldn't normally hit this spot, but work decided to have a big group dinner and this was where they decided to go. Management was very accommodating for a crowd that eventually got to nearly 20 and even set up a curtain in a side area for our privacy. Service was attentive and stuff came out on time. I got the rib eye which was unfortunately just okay (I expect better cuts of meat for the price). The Maker's Old Fashioned I got from the bar was well made and I heard no complaints from the few folks who imbibed some glasses of red wine. The bread (free) and Caesar salad (not free at all) were good at least. I don't think I'll be back since there are definitely better options in North Las Vegas.”

“It's okay for just a place to go. The issue comes in during the holidays insane prices for the same food you get normally it's insane. The surroundings are nice and it's far from the smokers. The food is okay given the day and time you come in. Every so often the food is great but not enough. Change the holiday menu or prices and have consistantly better food and it would be 5 stars.”

“Casa Cocina is not a bad restaurant, but the service we've received is very hit or miss. The food is good (fajitas, chimichanga, etc) and the prices are reasonable. They give you free chips, salsa, and beans when you get to your table. Servers to be aware of: Chrissy (maybe Christy?) is very personable, takes care of you, and is on top of things. Matt on the other hand is always seemingly in a bad mood. He tends to have an attitude, isn't very attentive, just a basic server, no personality”

When she asked my mom if she liked her sandwich and my mom responded "no" she immediately asked how can she make it right. She had the kitchen make another sandwich with a different cheese. “We stopped, not sure what they had to offer. Turns out the individual pizzas were fantastic! The crust is thin and so tasty.You get to pick your own toppings! They cook them up in a super hot oven in just minutes. They also have the best cookies baked right there in the restaurant. Awesome tasting! The staff are super nice and efficient.
