“Simply put one of the great meals of my life. John our server was FANTASTIC. Foie gras starter was prepared perfectly and highly recommend John choice of wine pairing, a Hungarian sweet wine. Waygu tomahawk was cooked to perfection and out of this world. We paired it with a delecious Duckhorn Zin but the steak was so magical it would've accompanied any red well.The choclate soufle was a wonderful way to end meal and glad we ordered it. It's finished tableside and perfect finish, not too sweet. I've been fortunate enough to eat at some of the countries greatest steakhouses and Ciera hold it's own amongst the very best of them. To top everything off the staff is extremely professional, seasoned, well polished. We had eaten at a Ruth's Chris several days prior and the experience was night in day. In comparison the service at RC was amateur. Will definitely be going back my next time in Tahoe!”

Also nice salads, fresh rolls and great personable service. Located in the Hard Rock Casino, an easy walk from other casinos.”

“My wife and I visit Tahoe at least once a year and all things considered, this is the best place to stay on the strip. Newly renovated, price is right, casino is simple and a bit smaller than the other casinos here yet has a great variety in games and slots. Easy access to fabulous food or just a simple cafe style cuisine and an awesome poolside atmosphere. Upgrade to a lake view for minimal cost and you're all set!”

“Great service. While our visit here another group tried getting a free meal in the worst and most shady way possible and the staff handled it wonderfully. The staff was so polite and professional even though the group of 10+ tried to skate a free meal. Our food came out super quick (with in 10 min) and our drinks were offered refills while half empty. I give the overall rating 5 out of 5 for food AND service”

“One of the nicer high end restaurants in the area. View is great if you request to dine upstairs! Drinks & food was good but would have been better if service was quicker . Food came out after obviously sitting under the heater for awhile . Steak was barely warm & mashed potatoes had hardened on the outside from cooling down.”

“Wow! What a cute place. I did some research prior to going, on places in the area for excellent breakfast and this place popped up on several sites. This restaurant is located inside The Lakeside Inn. The inn is a casino and hotel but also has The Timbers inside. No wait and service was so refreshing. We asked to be seated by the window so we could enjoy the breathtaking views. The waitress we had, was extremely personable and super sweet. The gentleman who brought our food was so courteous and very attentive. I was very happy to have chosen this place for my family. Would absolutely go back! Five stars!!!”

“My Husband and I are celebrating our Anniversary and we decided to go up to Lake Tahoe and find a good place for dinner. Hands down Sushi Pier was the best choice we could have ever make! We got seated right away at the Bar and ordered Right away. The Stuffed Calamari is to die for! So juicy and fresh it tastes like they got everything right out of the ocean. Locals get a discount which is great! The hand rolls and rolls are so amazing! I had the 007 roll and the King Kong. I'm pretty picky about sushi and I think we have found our new favorite spot! Plus it's so close to the lake and the downtown Casinos you can make a full day out of your time. We will be back for sure!!”
