Warm and friendly. Amazing pancakes with 20 flavor options (which our waitress informed us). Cute animal petting area to visit while you wait. I was full halfway through my pancake but I couldn’t waste such a good, large and fluffy, chocolate chip pancake.

Some advice for others looking to visit; expect a wait. It’s a lovely place that a lot of people go to so don’t expect to get your food right away. They work hard and make sure they get to everyone. It’s worth the wait, I promise.

From another review I saw, a woman complained about the amount of maple syrup that is served. It is a small portion but if you are a maple syrup fan then you’d know how maple syrup is not cheap. They make their own maple syrup that you have with your pancakes for way cheaper than it would cost to buy your own bottle.

This is a wonderful family place that I would love to go to every weekend with my mom.

**Edit 6/23/19: Well, like said in my original review I came back, and this time I was scolded for asking for more syrup for our table when we were only given half of a very small bottle. I don't generally use a lot of syrup anyway, so the fact that I even had to ask for more was off-putting. This is a pancake house. If you don't want to give out the real maple syrup, you need to have the store brand as a backup so that your customers can actually eat the pancakes they ordered. I let it slide in my original review because I really really enjoyed the place, but they are terrible at refilling your drinks. This is the second time where I never got a refill on my coffee despite one waitress walking around with a full pot. My husband also had to steal some of my water when he drank all of his. Not sure if I'll come back after this visit.

Original Review: Wow just wow. The best pancakes in New Hampshire and in such a beautiful location. The gingerbread pancakes were incredible and the banana walnut tasted like banana bread! My husband said his chocolate chip pancakes were loaded with chocolate chips and the best he's ever had. We will absolutely be back!

We came here on the recommendation of our family that lives in the area (I'm from out of state) and how great the huge pancakes are. We were seated promptly and liked the cute family style menu. When we got our food, we were only given a tiny half full bottle of their syrup (picture below). Keep in mind, they are known for their generous pancake sizing and we ordered 3. Once our waitress finally came back upstairs we asked for more and she told us that they gave us plenty and will have to charge us $4 for another bottle! We tried to explain that they only gave us half a bottle but she told us that they don't want customers abusing the syrup amounts and have to restrict how much they give out. What? The pancakes are the whole reason we came here! Luckily, the ladies at the next table got involved since they were given a full bottle of syrup for only 2 pancakes and they ended up giving us their syrup. Our waitress then disappeared again for the rest of our stay without ever offering a coffee refill. Considering the previously positive experience of our family that sat downstairs we can only guess at what the disconnect here today was. We gave 4 stars because while we will probably make the drive back out at some point, overall they did not live up to their reputation today.

If you love big, fluffy pancakes you HAVE to get here. Coffee with real maple syrup in it was amazing and the bacon and scrambled eggs were delicious! My friend and I each chose two different flavors of pancakes to share thereby each getting to try 4 each. I also bought some wonderful goat soap in the gift area. We went out to visit with the farm animals after. A really sweet little group of baby animals were outside. We got to see where our breakfast eggs came from too! Bring your whole family and enjoy a leisurely breakfast and take a lovely walk outside. I plan on returning to try more pancake flavors!
