“I completely agree with the previous review. Food was good and atmosphere was nice. Our waitress Mackenzie was amazing. However the hostess was wearing her mask around her chin as she greeted guests and sat them and walked around to tables. Then a man who I am assuming is the owner or manager was walking in and out of the restaurant repeatedly with no mask at all. This was all done while they have a sign on their door stating you must wear a mask to go inside. And half of the other staff were wearing their masks over their mouths but not noses. Seeing all of this left me feeling a little uneasy as a customer.”

“Driving home from Cape May on Rt. 47 last Sunday with our senior parents, we were looking for a decent place for a decent, affordable dinner. The Southville Corner Diner was a really lucky find, as it turned out. It's always a good sign when lots of cars are there... Definitely senior- and kid-friendly, and wallet-friendly. So many good menu choices! Our waitress Christine was a hometown girl, and made us feel like it was OUR home too. We'll stop at Southville Corner anytime we're driving that route!!”

“I ordered a speciality cake from the owner during COVID-19 to be delivered to my brother who was quarantining at a beach house. I thought of the idea last minute. She made it within less than 24 hours, made the cake look like our dog Lexi, and delivered it on time. She did a great job- the cake was adorable and tasted great! She was also very sweet and made it all easy! I will get more treats made by her in the future for sure.”

“What a surprise this place was! Went here with my in-laws last night for dinner and it was excellent! The outdoor seating was set up nicely with plenty of room between tables. The wait staff was super friendly, and following all state mandated precautions. Our appatisers were top-notch. We shared a plate of muscles, and another app, but I didn't try it. I got the chicken Ala Oscar... Amazing! Homemade noodles, delicious chicken... Everything in it was really fresh. My wife got a pasta special with scallops, my father in law got veal parm, and my mother in law got a different chicken dish. Everyone raved about their order. We even got desert... Excellent creme brulee! From start to finish, one of the best meals I've had in a long time!”

The place is super cute. We ordered waffles, french toast, eggs, home fries and toast. My family loved the food. Portions were big. Cups of orange juice were smaller than I thought they’d be. It also would have been nice to get an itemized receipt because I ordered bacon and didn’t get it, but couldn’t tell if I was charged for it or not (which they clarified I wasn’t when I called back and were very sorry about it). No big deal though. Other than that Ill be back.”

“I understand it is new and they did A great job with the place thank god!! I have had there pizza and cheese steaks and raviolis and all very good. Tonight we called for delivery when we saw the ad in the local weekly paper for two pizzas and one topping for I think was 20 dollars. We called and again understand it is A new place but the person who answered the phone did not know anything about the ad or the pizza deal. I understand they are getting started but the person answering the phone could not give me the deal. We ordered else where however They do have very good food just A shame we had to order else where. But I would tell everyone local (as I am) to try it the food is very good”

“Wonderful. I wanted take away and it was incredible. The staff was so kind and incredible as they were very busy. My pasta was overflowing. I asked for extra sauce and instead got a full side container of exceptional marinara. The side of salad was so tasty and was not just greens. Even included my favorite olives. Also, an entire small loaf of bread with a nice crust. Tons of butter, special sauce, and plastic ware. And all of this was less than 20.00. It could have fed 3 people with leftovers. Thank you.
