    Golden Cicada was one of my favorite bars when I was living in Jersey City. The youtube karaoke is very fun and Tsing Tao is a great beer. I am going to really miss this bar since I moved. I definitely recommend going at 10:30 until 1am because that is when the karaoke starts to be fun.

    if you are looking for a crazy, dive bar for late night no holds barred, drunken karaoke, there are no words to describe this place other than amazing! Just Google the place, famous!

    Went in here on a Friday. Lots of fun. Very lively! Haven't sang karaoke in years but belted out some tunes here. It's a serious dive. Drink is cheap. Crowd is boysterous but friendly ????????

    This local dive has weird and unpredictable hours of operation but when it's open it is always a good time. The cicada shot is truly a horrible tasting liquid but quite an experience and they almost always have "karaoke" going on the TV. I put that in quotes though because don't expect something like a karaoke bar, this is the low budget YouTube version.
