(February 5, 2019, 5:50 pm)Came here a couple times. The place is small, but their food is good and their prices are reasonable. Always packed and they have an outdoor seating section in the back. Get the guac!

(January 27, 2019, 1:29 pm)I’m from LA and when I am missing home town Mexican food and fabulous margaritas, I visit La Taqueria Downtown. The street tacos are authentic and the margaritas have fresh lime juice and are fabulous, but remember, they can be a bit lethal too.
It’s my favorite place to eat in Jersey City. -
(January 17, 2019, 3:58 am)Best Mexican food in Jersey City. Excellent tacos, true Mexican style. The line can get pretty crazy though, and you can forget getting in in under an hour on weekends. They are fairly relaxed about drinks in the area out front of the restaurant though, so at least you'll have somewhere to drink a beer while you wait!

(December 27, 2018, 2:51 pm)The best tacos I've ever had. Also, the best pork torta ever! This place does not disappoint!
It does get crowded though, especially on a Friday night. Backyard seating during the warmer months.
