Visited on a Tuesday evening, it was lightly crowded with good music. Looking forward to trying other dishes on the menu soon!

The outdoor space is really beautifully done with wooden bleachers and extended bar. We had our company party here a couple of days ago and I loved hanging outside even though it was a bit chilly -and can't wait to see it full in the spring and summer. Service was excellent, the shrimp were exceptional.

Before I get into the criticism, the food here is pretty solid. We had mango and house salsa, buffalo cauliflower, and shrimp tacos that were all very tasty.

Now for everything else. First off, they were sold out of A LOT of their options. First beer I ordered, sold out. First appetizer requested, sold out. The fish tacos sounded great, sold out. Instead of choosing what we actually wanted, we just relied on the recommendations from the bartender. My wife also ordered a cocktail (Supafly, maybe?) that was a bit too sweet for her to actually finish. If this were the extent of my concerns, I probably would have skipped the review and gave it another chance before writing this up. However, our other concern during our visit was the ambiance.

Screaming children running around the bar... Not the first time I've come across this and not the first time that I've gotten an apology from an associated adult. What was surprising, though, was when that same adult brought food to our table, and was what I assumed to be the owner or manager. The kids continued to run around the place for about half of the time that we were seated.

I'm sure I will be back in at some point since I live in the area, and hopefully I get to adjust the review. For now, though, I can't imagine that this will become a regular stop for me.

Best shrimp tacos ever! Beth the bartender was the very best in mixing drinks. :)
