“First, I would like to say this is very home cooked good food! I ordered roti(chicken), fried rice (shrimp) (with stew chicken gravy), plantains, and Mac (it was was sold out …so I ain’t taste it). But, i am sure if I had tried it would would have bumped this to 6stars! But presentation wonderful, food quality authentic, customer service genuine. “The restaurant has only been open a week. Sitting at the edge of the water, the view of NYC is spectacular! The bar is the standout, occupying half of the space. We found the restaurant portion of the interior to be dark, cold and noisy, rather than warm and inviting. The service was outstanding! There were four in the party and we all had dinner. We all had trouble selecting entrees from the ambitious, but limited menu. Billing themselves as “Steak, Chops and Seafood on the Hudson”, there were only two fish entrees and two steak entrees to select from, excepting the four person bistecca for $265 and lobster. We would have preferred a couple of simpler fish and steak entree options, such as salmon and filet mignon. Portions were generous. All in, it is a little pricy for a full dinner with cocktails…sides ($16 each) and dessert ($17 each) . Go and enjoy the view with cocktails and apps at the bar. Check out the menu before deciding on dinner. I am not reviewing the food, since they just opened. The menu has changed slightly from the one they originally posted. We all agreed that we preferred their sister restaurant Liberty House!”

“A perfect delicious Manhattan! Love the wallpaper and toned-down decor. The outdoor space is really beautifully done with wooden bleachers and extended bar. We had our company party here a couple of days ago and I loved hanging outside even though it was a bit chilly -and can't wait to see it full in the spring and summer. “The place is new and beautifully decorated. The lighting is bright but pleasant. The background was nice ambient music. The server was a young man with not enough experience as they have only been open two weeks but he will get better I am sure. The food was excellent. Everything we had was fresh and homemade. The desert was to die for. The people working there were all friendly and we really enjoyed it. We plan to go back with a larger group.”

“We came here for something quick. God! did we make a good decision. I ordered the Quesadilla Mil Amores it was well presented and DELICIOUS. My lady ordered the tacos Al pastor they tasted pretty standard as most places. What made this place so good was the all-around experience. The presentation of the food, service, cleanliness of the place. The price just brought the whole experience together. The servers were friendly and helpful. Just a great place to go. I just hope more people go.”

Starting with the atmosphere, you will be enjoying your meal surrounded by a beautifully decorated room while being serviced by a top notch staff. The drinks are garnished beautifully and the 14-Course Omakase is prepared by a very knowledgeable and skilled chef. Each bite was delicious and will melt into your mouth like butter!!
