“This is one of the best Indian restaurants in town. The food is flavorful, not watered down to cater American palate. So, be careful if you ask for too spicy food. In each occasions we liked the food. The place relies on lean operation. Suggestion for the management- please be more friendly to your customer. A little welcoming smile cost nothing.”

“Went with our teenage sons. We all loved the food! It is a low key place. We will be back”

“Reasonably priced simple authentic meals. I love this place, been eating here for years. Very cheap compared to the rest of Princeton; though be prepared to take out if squeezing between strangers at a bar against the wall doesn't appeal to you. They/he/she can only make a subset of the things on the menu at any given point in time, but those dishes are getting all their attention and are delicious.”

“Mmmmm! This place has amazing food and service. I stop in while in town for business. Healthy, fresh, warm and inviting. I had a cucumber & tomato salad and added shrimp. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend checking out Local Greek!”

“The food was excellent. We are wondering if someone didnt show up for work as there was one waitress and the place was packed. There was a young guy helping with water, chips and clearing, but it was hard to get anyone attention when we needed things. If this had been our first visit, I might not have given as high a rating due to service issues.”

“The best pizza in Princeton. There is also a bar with TVs so it would be a great place to go to watch a game. I went for lunch and ordered a supreme pizza. I don't normally eat those and this would be the only place I order it from. Service was great. Pizza came very fast and deserves every award it's gotten. Go early for lunch to avoid the Princeton lunch rush.”

“I usually order carry out, as their nachos are pretty good. Great for a quick bite. The food is mediocre but pretty much what you would expect for bar food, and what you pay for. The drink options are great, and their staff are friendly and good at what they do. It does get busy fast, as most bars do, and you’ll want to get in early for dinner if you head there on the weekend.”

“Although many people comment that service is not so good, we had a good experience, and the waiter was attentive. When we ordered one soup and said we will share it, they brought it in two different plates so that it’s easier to share. One aspect we didn’t enjoy so much is that food was too salty for our taste. We got penne pesto and lasagna and both were too salty for us. Otherwise, nice spot with decent prices.”

“Very nice BYOB in downtown Princeton. Great service and tasty food. Pasta is the hit here. Limited menu but fair pricing. We will visit La Mezzaluna again. Parking garage around the corner.”

“Great historic pub! Good draft selection and reasonable prices. We had a couple of apps and enjoyed the atmosphere. Came back on Saturday and watched college football. Plenty of TVs and others were cheering for their teams.”

“Olives!!! Where to start with Olives? What a genuinely pleasant place to get your food. Not only are the staff friendly and knowledgeable on their food, but they will have a friendly conversation/greeting with anyone who comes in. If they don’t know about a food allergy they will check for you and keep your food separate if you need to. They talk about their food and quality with great vigor. You can tell they love what they do. They’re not going anywhere anytime soon. That place is always busy. It is perfect for something quick, and at a decent price. You get your food at the counter, go through the line quickly and get sent out the door, very efficient, definitely not sitdown. The options are limitless, not only with their health food variety’s but styles of food, both hot and cold options. If you are in need of something really fast I would highly recommend Olive’s. I have never had their desserts but have friends who have and they’ve said they found them to be very enjoyable.”

“Had an amazing meal here last week. Couldn't remember where it was until I called my granddaughter and asked her about the wonderful brown waffle in Princeton. She told me it was actually a Falafel. It is always a blessing to try new things that the Lord has put on this earth.”

“A review from a former employee—I worked here for a few months a couple of years ago. Jim, the owner of this restaurant, is always finding new ways to improve the menu and the service. He and the rest of his team are at the restaurant frequently, making sure it runs smoothly, bringing in new ideas, and new menu items on a regular basis. They have a very fair base for their clientele, but the set up is a little scattered. For example, the food, and expectations for staff are high, but the options are limited. It might be useful if they came up with more varieties for families and students. Something that meets their high quality standards, while providing greater options for more people, broadening their client base. If they rearranged some of the seating and adjusted their layout it would help reduce the noise others are complaining about. However, it is a busy restaurant, and you can’t magically get rid of noise in a busy restaurant. Although mindful of allergies, it is no more than a list. The menu changes often, which can make it difficult to lock down what you can and cannot eat prior to arrival, however, if you call in, they can help assist with that ahead of time. The ambiance is pleasant, warm, and inviting, and they are always updating the decor, keeping it zestful! This place is great for larger parties and business-related outings, including private meetings.”

“Nice & cozy restaurant serving authentic south Indian food. A tad pricey but worth the extra few bucks. Portion size is just right. Loved the use of spices, the aroma stayed with me long after the meal. Definitely worth a try.”

“Bistro burger is my go to entree. The burger is fresh, juicy and rich in flavor. The place has a nice vibe on Friday night so it's a nice hangout place even if you ate looking to have a couple beers at the bar.”

“I have since moved away, but when I was living in Princeton I came to this Dunkin donuts every day for a donut, and they had good donuts, always fully stocked, and fast, kind service (they even knew me after a while and often got me my donut before I got to the counter) overall excellent service and great donuts.”

“This place was really good. Really enjoyed the aesthetic and vibe of the whole joint. We ordered the tan-tan ramen and the tuna avocado roll. The food was great. It's BYOB, and they let it slide because it was our first time there, but they told us that if we were to come next time we'd have to purchase a $20 minimum each to be able to open a bottle of wine. A little odd however that was really the only drawback. Otherwise, a great experience.”

“Great pizza. Service was quick with plenty of seating. Meat Lover's pizza was just the right of meat goodness. Two slices and a medium soda for less than $10. Great deal. Decor is also really cool including a large print of Einstein.”

“As a bar, looks great and would be excellent. For getting food, most items are just glorified bar appetizers and if they left it at that, would be fine. But the few items they have that you think you are ordering an entree, the meal while good, is barely the size of an appetizer for one person. So it makes what looks like might be a reasonably priced meal on the menu, pretty pricey since it is quite small.”

“Understated but elegant. Lovely place for a nice French meal with your significant other. The service was prompt and attentive but not intrusive. The food was delicious and caringly plated. Adding this to my list of restaurants that I will go back to again!”

“We had a small dinner event at Metro North Bar & Grill just before the holidays. When we arrived the restaurant their large parking lots were almost full. Most of the patrons were in the bar area. It looks like the Happy Hour is a hit. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived at 6pm but filled up during the evening. Service was excellent. Overall a good place to visit on your next visit to the Princeton area.”
