“Pub ‘n Grub just reopened after 2 years! New owners, new management, new interior, new everything! This is a classic bar & restaurant that just feels right. Very cozy, comfy, clean and the staff here are so friendly and welcoming. Everything inside is new and the food is fantastic! Daily specials and they’re going to have 20+ beers on tap! Can’t wait to go back!”

“Had a wonderful stay at the Golden Eagle RV Resort! The owners are very friendly and know a ton about the area. Very clean campground/ shower/bathroom facilities. They even have a small restaurant with great home cooked meals offered each night, like green chile pork stew (highly recommend trying!). We enjoyed an awesome boat ride/guided fishing trip on scenic Eagle Nest Lake with Nathan. Caught several trout and we even grilled them up for dinner that same night. Campground had a fish cleaning station and owner provided us with the appropriate fillet knife. We frequented nearby Angel Fire for more fun and drove the Enchanted Circle! Great time, beautiful and peaceful area, we will come back!”

“Good restaurant considering you are in a small town. The flavor on the lamb rack was good but the lamb had too much fat in the cut. The price is on the high side but again as expected in ski town. Service is attentive. Wish they open every night. (Only wed to sun)”

“The food was very tasty and reasonable prices. Both the ladies running it were so sweet. Jeanette was very helpful in giving information about the area.”

“We came here as part of a small tour. Environment was airy & the views were great. We had a 3 course meal. The potato soup was excellent, the main entree was fine but the pork was a bit dry, the chocolate mousse for dessert was good they gave us a tiny portion.”

“Best pizza in Angelfire. In summer, days and hours open can be a little confusing, and they are not posted anywhere...that is normal for restaurants in the town. Would have eaten here for more days we were in town if they were open, but very satisfied for the two we got. Seems to now be takeout only for the last couple of years.”

Pizzas were okay compared to pizza shop. The bar has multiple choices for drinks. However, draft beers are limited to few selections. Bartenders are kind of cold, probably due to the snow and cold weather outside ;-)”

“We had great experiences here several times during this ski trip. Very surprised to see any poor ratings on the place. Conveniently located down the hall from our room, never had to leave the parking lot. We had great service and excellent food every time! High recommendations”

“No flying piggy, sad. One taco $9! Ouch. Sorry don't know what the food tastes like. Closing time gotta go. Ok, gave this place a second chance to redeem themselves. I ordered the Caribbean bowl, and it was pretty darn good. I loved the way the flavors just complimented each other. The staff is very friendly. Good drinks.”

“Service was really slow because they had one server during Saturday evening dinner time. They forgot our appetizers and my drink. Maybe a server called out or something, but unless you have more than hour it won't work. HOWEVER, the food was absolutely divine! That was some of the best pizza and fried ravioli I have ever eaten! The servers were friendly and apologized for the mistakes. The atmosphere was pretty good, too. We will definitely go back!”

“Very delicious food and the staff is so kind, professional and friendly. The taco salad and the breakfast burrito was really good. I especially liked the salsa. All their food is homemade and it tastes like it. The deserts are the providers best. I haven't tried any yet, but when I do I will post the results.”

“We were recently staying in Angel Fire and discovered this delightful place to eat. The food was truly outstanding!! The best breakfast sandwiches, quiche, smoothies and coffees. They even make their own flavored drinks. I had a Lavender Lemonade that was yummy and gorgeous. The couple that own and run the cafe are so friendly and put a lot of great care into creating the food. We ended up going back more than once. Try it!”

“There was a solo guitarist that played great oldies rock and roll music it made the stay a bit better than just to go eat and get out. The service was great, but the portion size for the price was a bit off. I got the full size chicken strips, as you see. The small size is only two strips. They do have very good beer, but don't expect a full bar with the different kinds of drinks. They only serve local New Mexico alcohol, beer, wine, and liquor... local. Brewhaus salad with grilled chicken is awesome with the Black Lake Vanilla Porter. Must try you won't regret it. Ask for Brandy she is on top of everything.”

“Don't let the plain exterior fool you, this place has the best service in town by FAR. Beyond that, the food (as long as you enjoy texmex even a little bit) is very possibly the best in town. Unique interior decoration rounds this spot out as the absolute highlight of Angel Fire. I hope they stick around for many years to come! We ate here twice within 4 days, it's delicious.”

“I was craving New Mexico style cuisine and this place really delivers. You can get your enchiladas or burritos smothered in either green sauce, red sauce or both mixed (aka X-mas style). I am really glad I stopped in today.”

“Stopped here for a quick lunch. Taco Salad was great so we also decided to get a shake. Wasn’t let down on either. Prices were just right and so we’re the portions. Stop if you can spare some time.”

“Breakfast burrito was tasty, but the tortilla really fell apart. Tasty nonetheless. I’ve had smothered burritos of this size many times, so I know a better tortilla is possible. Green chili > Red chili here (tried both as you can see). Paid about $18 for my meal alone—pretty pricey. For that price, I’d maybe expect hash browns, toast, or something to pair with my burrito. Altogether, a cozy atmosphere and would return to try something else.”

“On our vacation we really enjoyed this spot and revisited on our way back home! Their burritos were very good i really enjoyed them personally, their carne asada tacos weren’t too seasoned but still great! The location of this spot was great and had a wonderful view. They had our food out very quickly as well! :)”

“this place lowkey wasn’t too bad considering what i thought previously. I will say a lot of the meat wasn’t seasoned too well but it was still pretty alright. Their drinks were great we all really enjoyed them as well as their guacamole, salsa and chips! Their service was great, our server worked for that tip for sure!”

“Great bistro at the summit of Angel Fire, just after the Chile lift unload. It's cozy, warm and has great views of liberation park and the path to the backside of the ski resort. The bistro offers sandwiches, hot chocolate, beer, snacks, coffee and during holidays they offer expanded menu with items such as burgers. A must once you get off the Chile lift, either at the start, middle or end of your ski day!”

“Our third year at Golden Eagle. Our stay is perfect. Mountain View’s, friendly staff, they answer their phones or return promptly any message. They have someone staffed at all times in the store/office. Propane on site, live music on Friday and Saturday nights with food served. The longer you stay it becomes like family. The grill is great. I think last night I had one of the best burgers I have ever had. Very dog friendly but could use a dog run somewhere. Plenty of places to walk your dog off site.”

“Good burgers and good chicken tenders, bad part was I came close to closing time and they had no cream gravy. Nice setting in patio area. Clean bathroom, and dining area. Excellent CFS sandwich with an egg... definitely a must try place. By the way everyone please bring cash, credit cards not accepted, because of no internet.”

“Food was expensive for the quality of it. The side salad was great. I wish I'd gotten the dinner salad instead. That said, it's a bar, so mayne keep your expectations relative to that. Service could have been a little better, but they were nice. It will do in a pinch, but likely not my first choice next time I'm staying in the area.”
