Angel fire Raton

Kit Carson Restaurant

Address: 31033 US-64, Cimarron, NM 87714, USA

Restaurant

“Ordered the Breakfast Burrito with bacon. Had it smothered in green chile sauce for $2 more. The sauce is what made this plate. The one suggestion I have is either get smaller tortillas or actually fill them up. For the $10 burrito there was maybe one egg, a handful of semi cooked potato chunks, a spoon full of green chilies, and one slice of bacon. There was no cheese in the burrito, but there was some sprinkled on top of the sauce. I do like my cheese melted and it was still cold. My wife had the same burrito but with red chile, an average sauce, not worth the $2 extra. All this to say, I will come back and try more items but will always make sure to get some green chile sauce! (I had already cut mine up in the pictures)”

Cree-Mee Drive In

Address: 31089 US-64, Cimarron, NM 87714, USA

Restaurant

“The staff are very friendly. The food was pretty good, I got a cheese burger and fries and a strawberry malt. The strawberry malt was very heavy but super creamy. You definitely can’t finish it by yourself. It’s basically like ice cream.”

Blü Dragonfly Brewing

Address: 301 9th St C, Cimarron, NM 87714, USA

Restaurant

“Staying in Cimarron and needed a meal. Very friendly owners, simple menu well done, tried two beers, an English bitter and a green chile amber (rich and tasty, not spicy). Get the house made green chile with your burger. Burgers, a chicken sandwich and a few sides (I had a tasty pasta salad). Simple, wholesome, fun place.”

Cimarron House of Pizza

Address: 253 9th St, Cimarron, NM 87714, USA

Restaurant

“The pizza is great. The dining area is outdoors. This "restaurant" is clearly someone's house when they covered a corner for making pizza and setup tables in the front yard. But don't let that be a turn off. The pizza is great.”

K-Bob's Steakhouse

Address: 1228 S 2nd St, Raton, NM 87740, USA

Restaurant

“Me and my boss were driving back to Texas coming from Colorado Springs, when he mentioned a steakhouse that he really wanted to visit. I found it on the map and low and behold it was K-Bobs! I started reading some reviews and they all looked pretty good to me so we gave it a go. We went on a Wednesday around noon and it wasn't packed at all. The staff were so so nice and helpful, and the restaurant itself was pretty comforting with their wheelbarrow wheel light fixtures up top, and other decor of similarity. We ordered fried pickles and mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, and they came out pretty dang fast. So.... I don't know what they did here with their mozzarella sticks, but OH MY GOD they were so delicious! The pickles were just as good, and once my salmon and his 16oz ribeye came out, the true test was ready to begin. My salmon was cooked pretty dang good, a little on the drier side, but still flavorful and tender. The rice had some crunchy spots, but honestly I'll let that pass, it wasn't that big of a deal. I also ordered seasonal veggies to go with my salmon and they too were a little on the drier side, but with a little bit of butter PRESTO! My boss absolutely LOVED his steak. He word for word said it came out perfect! Way better than expected. Overall if you're a traveler coming through, or if you live nearby, STOP BY THIS PLACE! Truly was amazing service, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere.”

Pappas' Sweet Shop Restaurant

Address: 1201 S 2nd St, Raton, NM 87740, USA

Restaurant

“Omg. This is the place to eat. We stopped for breakfast- had the most delicious breakfast sandwich on homemade bread with the best green sauce ever. The gentleman that seated us was pleasant and entertaining. The story of Pappas sweets was heartfelt. The history in the pictures and other items in the restaurant tells a story. The out sude just says Restaurant but it is Pappas' restaurant. I would love to go back again and try thier lunch.”

Mulligan's Restaurant & Bar

Address: 473 Clayton Rd, Raton, NM 87740, USA

Restaurant

“The food was pretty bland. The bar and the service was absolutely the highlight. We had a Bloody Mary and a beer called kilt lifter which both were delicious .The kids meals were pretty big and made the kids happy. Bland again but the kids just dipped everything in ketchup anyways. The fried chicken was just a flat patty breaded. We ended up paying a little over 100 for 7 including a 25% tip. Environment was nice with the fireplace.”

Casa Lemus Inn and Restaurant

Address: 350 Clayton Rd, Raton, NM 87740, USA

Restaurant

“Rooms are very large and clean. They are very dated, however. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Towels were very small and thin and linens were a little thin as well. Felt a little over priced for what it was. Food was not as great as everyone seemed to indicate in their reviews. The fajitas were basically flavorless. We had to dump on the hot salsa (which was delicious) to give it any flavor. Same with breakfast. We ordered the breakfast skillet, which was the fajita veggies, some potatoes, and some cheese. Again, not a lot of flavor. Not sure what was up with our cook. Great veggies all real fresh and cooked well, just no seasoning. Overall a decent place to stay and eat.”

“An incredibly special and beautiful ranch! Our family unplugged from technology and spent 5 days at Vermejo. It was the most amazing experience, with incredible outdoor activities, wildlife sightings (including bison) and some of the best hospitality and culinary dining we’ve experienced in our travels. The accommodations are top-notch and their staff make you feel so special and welcome. The guides we had for our outdoor activities were so knowledgeable and made fly fishing, archery, and trail riding so much fun! None of us wanted to leave after 5 days, and we will definitely be back.”

The food we ordered was also yummy, and I have never seen such a giant pretzel in all my life! Definitely ask about the history of the building if you end up coming here - it is fascinating! :)”

Bruno's Pizza & Wings

Address: 133 Cook Ave, Raton, NM 87740, USA

Restaurant

“The salads were super fresh but so delicious. The cranberry salad with the lemon poppy seed vinaigrette was really exceptional. The cranberry bbq wings were really tasty. The pepperoni rolls were crispy on the outside and soft and chewy inside. The Bruno's Special pizza was generously topped with fresh veggies and the sausage was especially good. The crust was golden brown and airy. Service was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Bruno's”

“Probably the best coffee shop in town. It's much better than Starbucks. Lots of choices for every coffee lover. Also had the breakfast burrito which was pretty good. Maybe a little bit too much potato. But the salsa made up for it. Definitely check it out if your passing through. Great local shop. I'd come here again.”
