We had the enchiladas, pork Verde and the kids taco plate. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We will definitely go back! Great new addition to Carlsbad.”

“Service: 3/5 - Maybe there was a consolidated trash dumpster but I didn't see it. I didn't ask since I only had a couple small bags so I took them with me. There was only one port-o-potty for the entire campground and it was so full, the mound was up to the seat. Fortunately, they had a bathroom in the front lobby/ cafe. There aren't any showers either. All sites are within spitting distance. One guy didn't have power at his hookups, but the owners were quick to move him to a different site, so that was good. Atmosphere 4/5 - They had a covered area for bands to play during an event, which also had a couple of benches and chairs. There was a basketball hoop on the front for kids to play, but there was no concrete. They did have some small items to buy in the cafe/store. Also, be sure to get gas in Carlsbad as there is NOTHING in the area. The trails were ok. Very moderate but is very scenic. They were VERY dusty during a UTV event so plan for that as well.”

“We are from Oklahoma, here to visit some caves & enjoy the views. Made a random stop in this small town.. Choose to dine here because of the reviews on Google, and I have to say they were not lying. I 10-10 recommend. The food was amazing exactly what we had hoped for, service was fast & price great. Only negative is- please be sure you put napkins in the bag. 🤦♀️ if we are back we will definitely visit!”

“Good Mexican food is made fresh while you wait. This was my first time going there. I went because of the reviews and was not disappointed. There is a small sitting area which is quaint and well decorated with hanging sarapes as curtains. The establishment is super clean inside and out. The staff (Lupe) the owner made time to converse with us letting us know she has been open for almost two years now. We will be back for more good food. Thank you Doña Lupe for the meals.”

My kid had the orange carrot and wife had the chicken fetta wrap. Since they moved to a new location, the atmosphere hasn't been set up completely. That's why there's a 4 star. “Parking was a bit difficult, but all that goes out the window once you experience the food. It was absolutely delicious. The green sauce was a perfect addition to my meal. The salsa had amazing flavor, but the heat level was volcanic for my pallet. So I had to pass on it. My waitor was polite and attentive. I would recommend this to anyone who asked where to get a great meal for a good price. This is the spot.”

“Beautiful place. It's a walking tour. Floors are wide enough and well-maintained. The cave is mostly dry, so there is not much trouble with water on the floor. There is an elevator at the end to bring you back up. Amazing formations to see. There are two gift shops and a snack bar in the building that houses the entrance. We enjoyed it very much.”

“Cool spot to relax and eat either after you've come down the natural entrance or right before you leave. Sadly food selection is really lacking. They have ham or turkey sandwiches or salads for main meals. For snacks candy bars, some baked goods, small bags of chips, bottled soda and a few other small things. (At this time of posting 2023 sandwich costed $8.75, chips $1, brownie $4, soda $2.87, candy bar $2.19)”

“We had our wedding here 09/23/23 and let me begin with how absolutely amazing Toni, Janie, and the rest of the staff were. They were so kind and listened to everything we wanted for our special day. They did amazing with the decorations, florals, and the food/dessert was phenomenal. They were so easy to work with and we could have not done anything without them. I 100% recommend them for ANY special occasion. Apart of our wedding package we also got a nice stay at the Trinity Hotel and again, it was pure perfection. Thank you Balzano family for everything. “I stopped in to lunch here for a business meeting. One of the other people in the meeting selected the restaurant and talked highly of it. We were a party of 6, and without a reservation we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. That’s okay, I understand it is busy and we didn’t get a reservation. Service was ok. We were ready to order once we were seated because of our time in the waiting room. We provided our order and then waited. My dish came out AFTER 3 people had finished their meals. The serve just said, “sorry, I don’t know what happened”…. I had the Lawman, it was good. Other folks had enchiladas (they said that they were not impressed) and someone had the salmon (which looked delicious and that person said it was great). The setup and decor of the restaurant was nice and they’ve worked hard to make it look nice and be a fun place. I was only in Carlsbad for a couple of days, and may visit Carlsbad again in the near future, but I wouldn’t request to return to Trinity Hotel and Restaurant.”

“I had the chicken hibachi and a phoenix roll. My girlfriend had the cowboy roll and deluxe eel roll. Prices were high but not unreasonable. Our server was attentive and nice, we were greeted with clear onion soup and then he brought out ginger salad immediately after we placed our order. Food took 15-20 minutes to come out, which was impressive because the restaurant was really busy during our visit. I'm particular about my rice and the hibachi chef made the rice correctly, I was able to eat it with chopsticks. All in all a pleasant experience.”

“This Blake’s location has a drive through. I tried the season pumpkin pie shake and it was okay. The service was pretty fast compared to other Blake locations that I have been at. Some Blake’s can be extremely slow. However this one did a good job and the food was pretty good.”

“The pizza here was excellent. We had the buffet and it was really big with the extras they have. Mac n Cheese, Alfredo pasta, chicken nuggets, spaghetti and sauce. I just got a plate of sauce to dip my pizza. The salad bar was also large with deserts in there also. The best part was the chocolate chip pizza. After your stuffed it's so good you'll still want more. Learned that Wed kids are half off. I'll be returning Wednesday 😁”

“The Starbucks I went to in Carlsbad was okay. The drink was a bit dark for my taste, and just okay service. I couldn't get my birthday drink a day ahead even though I don't live in their area & was there to see my mom in the hospital. I link in a small town of Texas with a Starbucks an hour away. Such is life. I still ordered a drink from them. High priced, of course.”
