“Great service, good food quality, but fell short in a few areas. Our server was GREAT! She was genuinely friendly and worked hard to provide the best service. The onion rings tasted good but we felt it was a poor value for the price as photo shows what we got for around $6.50. The salads were fresh, we got tasty complimentary biscuits, and an excellent burger. The 12 oz ribeye steak was average, cooked to order but it was a little tough and under seasoned. Our daughter was disappointed that the fry bread tacos were not available. The food took quite a long time to arrive and we would have enjoyed a beer while we waited but they didn’t serve alcohol. Sign said they were awaiting a liquor license but seemed that odd for a steak house. Overall it wasn’t bad, but didn’t quite meet our expectations.”

“Very old school western Cafe feel. They offer a variety of foods. The food quality could have been better. My husband ordered a steak and ended up with lots of fat. I ordered the French dip, which came with sliced roast beef on French bread. It was very dry. I was expecting a bit more effort, but it didn't taste bad. I was also disappointed when I ordered fried ice cream off of the table menu and they didn't have any.”

“This was a great spot to have breakfast! We stopped here on our way back home to Ca. It's in a very small town and we watched everyone say hi to each other. We came in and since it was slow enough, they let us choose our table. We decided to sit at the bar so our son could have a true "diner" experience where you have small chats w the servers and watch the cooks in the back. The servers were all nice and attentive. We never had an empty glass and they continually asked if we were good.. They have their wall covered in patrons' art, mostly from kids. Their decor is very diner-ish with different signs and art all over the walls. The building itself was dated but it was clean, including the bathrooms. We ordered their classic breakfast plates and a kid's plate. All the food were cooked fresh and you can tell they make their own food. My husband loved the sausage and blueberry pancakes. Even the blueberries were fresh vs frozen. My corned beef hash, eggs, and biscuit and gravy were all good. All in all, I would describe it as home cooked food on the road. Things your parents would cook for you. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't it but I'd take this over fancy! We left full and satisfied. My son ended up making some art to put on their wall and they immediately hung it up for him. That made his day! Would definitely come back and recommend 👌”

“A Route 66 gem! This charming little restaurant is a must if you're making the trip down Rte66 through Tucumcari New Mexico. The friendly service is a bonus to the vintage atmosphere and the good food. I highly recommend the Four Seasons entree and the Po Po Platter.”

“One of our most unique BBQ experiences! You'd never expect to find good BBQ kind of in the middle of nowhere, in the back of a gift shop. The food was really yummy. Pulled Pork and ribs were delicious. The sides were tasty and I love that they give you a cookie. The Watsons are a very nice couple. They chat with you, and really want to k ow how you like their food. The town obviously loves them because they have a huge outside area and plenty of indoor seating for this small town BBQ joint. They've done an awesome job here and we'll be stopping in on our next trip west. Thanks for the great lunch!!”

“Family business, good food and daily specials. I had street taco plate, came with beans and rice and very filling. Good chips and salsa while waiting, though I can stand my salsa hotter than most, so Loretta brought me jalapenos bless her. Good for family dining out, good prices, big servings.”

“They brought breakfast to my car. I was staying at a motel down the road. Not a lot of choices in town really but it was a decent meal. Little pricey for 4 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage patties and toast , $15, but like I said above consider the situation.”

“Went there on the recommendation from The Blue Swallow. Food was great, servers were over whelmed due to Father's day customers. As we waited couldn't help but notice the pictures painted on the walls of the restaurant. They are very life like and will make you think twice.”

“Very reasonably priced. Large parking area. If you're on a trip, hungry, and need a minute to rearrange the vehicle/ people in the vehicle this is the perfect place to stop. Had a shredded beef burrito and the picture does not do it justice. Check out the menu online to save time.”
