“The off season is the time to go. A nice cold wintry day perhaps, when there is wood in the fireplace and you can sit at a clean table next to it. We had the special with hamburger. Good. And a bean a cheese burrito with a choice of meat or not in the chili. Xmas on the side gives one an opportunity to taste the difference and the heat factor. I prefer the green, less earthy. Yet still quite Hot! A great selection of beers and ciders are available. I started with Angry Orchard and then had a non-alcoholic ginger beer. Delicious. Wonderful atmosphere inside with the wooden floor and all the doodads on the walls. Check it out yourself.”

“Happened to be driving by around lunch time so I stopped in (I have a weak spot for anything firefighting so that caught my attention...). From the beginning the staff was super nice and welcoming, there was a nice selection of drinks (and cider!) to choose from to cool off and the food was delicious! I will definitely be stopping in the next time I pass by!”

“This restaurant had good food and good service. The atmosphere is cantina style and nicely done. Table tops are distressed copper which is nice. One food negative is you only get one small basket of chips and the second basket is not free. Also the north side parking lot is gravel and making a left across traffic is tricky due to a curve in the highway. I really enjoyed lunch. Recommended.”

“Nice environment, tasty food with good hot tea on a cold, icy day, but the sole waitress in the restaurant was the slowest I have ever encountered. Requested water twice then finally went to the service area, found a foam cup and poured my own. When the waitress was clearly overwhelmed once in a while the owners or managers came out to assist by sitting customers or taking an order but NEVER inquired or made eye contact with seated customers if anything was needed. To be candid, I will not return because I did not feel my patronage was valued.”

“We enjoyed the braised short rib & the prawns & shrimp entrees. One thing I miss from years of celebrating special occasions at The Corn Maiden are the delicious homemade blue corn muffins and toasted focaccia bread. Both meals were served hot and ample portions, although enough room for incredible small portion desserts. After we left, my server went out of his way to find me and return my credit card I left behind. That was outstanding customer service.”

“Wow! Haven’t eaten here since we lived in Texas years ago. Christina the manager was super helpful in getting us set up with the new rewards app. The breakfast burrito were scrumptious! “This particular McDonald's store is located at the NW corner of Unser and McMahon Blvd. It's a nice place to eat and relax and fairly new to the community. They incorporate two drive thru lanes for quick service and also have ample parking on both sides of the store. Disable spots and entrances as well. You can also eat outside when the weather is warmer and have nice tables and chairs to accommodate the public. They have great innovations here too if you don't want to stand in line to order, one can use their automated order stations and pay with your credit card. One nice thing they do here after you order they will bring your order to your table. Soft drinks are free as long as you eat in, their restrooms are clean and well maintained. They also have a small playground area inside for the kids. Great dollar menu and kids menu as well, lots of healthy choices too. They have weekly specials that you may like to take advantage of, breakfast times are from 6 to 10. and their coffee is always good. Staff is friendly and quick service is a great asset. Great place to dine in or just to order out.”

He was thorough from start to finish making sure we had everything we needed and the best personality ever!! Its rare to find employees around especially later at night that are above and beyond.
