The overall service was excellent with very courteous and attentive staff like eating at 5 star restaurant. Food made to order which was fresh and juicy. I noticed an elderly man sitting, waiting for his food and the Manager brought it out on a tray with napkins and utensils, that is great service. Give Munchies a try if you have not already because I know I will.”

“Love this place so much! Having been to the bar it was previously, it's amazing to see the elegant upgrade. Service is always amazing. We love the crispy chicken sandwich. Yes, its a simple choice, but it is done very well and always delicious. We went recently and there was a smoked tuna appetizer served on fresh toasted sour dough slice with fresh tarragon and cucumber and it was to die for. Literally still dreaming about it. The cocktails are well executed as well. And on a personal note, love that it's female run and owned.”

“This new location operates much like Ted's other locations especially re menu choices. My wife and I each had the fish fry lunch combo to go with fries, slaw and drink for under $10. We reheated everything when we got home and it did not suffer at all. The fish fry was very good. The fish seemed very fresh as was the bun.The fries were tasty as was the small side of slaw. Condiments provided in the take out bag without having to ask but no napkins or plastic ware provided. Probably have to take those yourself but since we were going home that didn't matter. Tartar sauce was excellent. Cocktail sauce unusual and spicy. Choice of bottled soda. The only downside is they don't do curbside service. Both indoor and outdoor seating but outdoor was a little too close to Western Ave traffic and noise for us. Basically this is a place that gives you what you expect at a fair price.”

“I loved meeting the team at Paper Dragon on my first visit today. The menu is awesome and I plan to work my way through it. I started lighter with the Dragon Salad with curry chicken added. I love the char and wasabi peas added for crunch. I will definitely order chicken with it again in the future. The Tofu Katsu Bao is light and delightful, and the fried wonton crisps served with it are a great texture contrast. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the meat options.”

“I love going to this location. I do not know their names sadly but there is a man and woman duo in the morning when I come in and they are fantastic. Sociable, polite, makes good conversation, amazing customer service. They have regulars that come in and they remember their orders. They are just wonderful. And funny as all get out. And its right near work so it makes it easy to make a quick pit stop before I head to work.”

“My family and I had to visit the NY State Division of Licensing. At street level is this cafe. It’s right across from the Capitol Building. My wife was asking my daughter should we eat here and a guy in a suit walked past and said the food in there is fantastic, so we took his advise and went in. It’s during the pandemic so people were generally getting take out. We sat at a table. Let me tell you, I have eaten all over Manhattan in NYC. This place ( in Albany!) beats them all ! We were shocked. Everything we ordered was delicious! I told the people , who are the owners I believe, how great their food is and the were very appreciative. Do yourself a big favor, go there.”

“Can’t say enough about this incredible treasure in downtown Albany! The service was top notch, all of the servers were personable, most accommodating and very knowledgeable about the menu. The appetizers were large in portion and beyond delicious. Our table ordered 4 different entrees and we shared a little of everything! The scallop plate and the lamb chops entrees were well beyond 5 stars as well as the salmon. It really is a wonderful opportunity to experience fine dining in a casual and comfortable environment.
