“My friend treated me to a birthday dinner! The menu is different from anywhere I've been. It's more pricey then I'm used to but believe me the food was amazing!! We shared an artichoke and a squash, (seasonal) appetizer they were both so delicious. My friend ordered 2 more of the squash to take home! We both had chicken cutlets, hers with a salad, mine with penne pasta with vodka sauce. This was definitely a dinner I didn't want to end because I enjoyed it so much. We topped dinner off with 2 scoops each of gelato with sea salt! Perfect and so tasty!! We both brought home food as the portions were generous. “Never Disappointed - always delicious Beef on Weck! A Buffalo NY institution nearby the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport. 2 years ago I was there for a late lunch around 2:30-3pm. The cashier was getting a lot of take out calls. I asked why now when lunch was 2.5 hours ago. She said it's the afternoon rush when the flights land. Crews and passengers start calling once they arrive, and have their orders ready for pickup. That's amazing! And yes, there is a real Charlie the Butcher.”
