“Wanted to check out this new restaurant with my friend and since he was from Nashville we both decide to get the hot chicken sandwich ($14). I really enjoyed it and got it with the standard side of Tavern chips with your house-made. he got he is with the Tavern fries for a $2 upcharge. Having never tried it authentic Nashville hot chicken, I had no frame of reference so I really enjoy it. Had a bit of a kick to it, but the added coleslaw threw off the flavor profile a little bit for me. My friend felt that it was a "very good" chicken sandwich but didn’t quite take him back to his days in Nashville. He also got a side of mac & cheese which he really enjoyed. We both got a house cocktail (both were $10 each) as our drink of choice for the evening. I got the Papa's Peach, which was a tequila-based cocktail and my buddy had the Boulevardier. both were well-made. The overall atmosphere was not quite upscale and it felt a place I'd take my mom to, go out with friends for good meal, or possibly take an interview candidate to for lunch.”

“I visited after a long day of working and cleaning so I was tired and just wanted a comfy, delicious meal someone else prepared. 😋 and I got friendly service and a fresh, warm, delicious Chicken Pot Pie and a side of buttery biscuits! And the man taking order and cashing me out was friendly and patient and efficient even at 8:30 at night.”

“This restaurant makes fantastic foods and deserts that anyone can enjoy. 😋 Are you thinking Vegan friendly, not for me. You would be surprised 😮 everything we ate was awesome 🤩 Started with Milkshakes while waiting for our food. OMG 😱 out of this world. Each sip better then the one before it. Burgers, chicken wings, fries and Mac n cheese. To finish off we had cupcakes made to perfection. There isn’t one item of food I recommend over another. It was all delicious 🤤 If you want one single recommendation, start with a cookies n cream milkshake 🧋 This is Buffalo’s newest casual restaurant that is sure to be a go to place for years to come.”

“Been to this place twice now. The first time there was a hiccup in the communication over the phone so the pizza in the photo is from the second visit. I would say they have some of the best crust and pizza sauce that I have tried in Buffalo so far just a little inconsistent with the bake time. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good place for a date night with a great vibe. If you are specifically craving a cheesy pizza I would refer back to your usual but for something new it's absolutely worth trying. Thank you to worker owner Soon Ho for your kindness! I hope you guys do very well”

“Local brewery putting a new spin on beer and teaming up with Munch to bring you some amazing food items. Their Liquid Lollipop fruited sours are like having a fruit smoothie. Packed full of fruity flavors and you'll be surprised with the smoothie consistency. They do have a few classic beer types on their beer menu. A bit pricey compared to other location but some place you must check out at least once.”

“Delicious! Definitely worth the trip wherever you maybe in Buffalo! Amira is an amazing chef and a wonderful host. Everything we’ve tried there is amazing. The grilled chicken is excellent, its always got a nice crisp outside but it’s juicy, never over cooked. Their falafel is great, some of the best in town and the sides are very good too… can’t go wrong here!”

“The juicery had the cutest little lady’s working. They made beautifully handcrafted ice cream for me and my family of 6. It came out extremely fast and I got to enjoy some tasty treats with the kids on the water while watching the sunset. I’m so proud of all the workers there, they put it their all so our families can have a lovely evening together.”

“What a fantastic experience! It's not everyday you find a diamond, and this is a true diamond. Spectacular service. My friends and I reserved seats at the bar. But where do I start! The whiskey selection was/is put together for royalty. And it had some heavy allocations like Blood Oath, Eagle Rare, and Old RIP Van Winkle, Weller, and much more! That was only 1/10 of the Bourbon/whiskey selection. Justin (Devo) who was managing the bar introduced us to an entire selection of drinks! Let's jump to the food!!!!! The burnt pork ends, the Mac and cheese you could add lobster, the steak with the sauce that was made in house that you could aslo add a lobster tail, and the mushroom appetizer are all must tries! Sorry that there are no pictures of the tongue tantalizing food. We ate everything so fast because it was so delicious. It's as if we have to get the pictures as they are moving it all from the stove top to the plate because it was devoured so fast. Oh, and the hot sesame buns, or hot buns, pun intended. Get lost and find yourself at Compass Run. They'll take care of you.”

“Saw this new black-owned business pop up on Elmwood and figured I’d give it a try. I ordered the signature beef lasagna ($19 on grubhub; $17 in restaurant), which comes with a side Ceasar salad and garlic bread. I also ordered some banana pudding ($5.50) when I arrived to get my pickup order. The lasagna was very good and flavorful and it was a good size portion. at first I thought it felt a little pricey for just lasagna salad and bread, but I've paid the same or more at a dine-in restaurant before. The banana pudding was not quite my grandmas (haha), but it was a pretty yummy sweet treat. there was some limited seating inside and it’s right at the corner of Elmwood and Forest Avenue, so lots of commotion typically happening there if you want to watch the people and cars moving by while you have lunch.”

“We had our wedding at the barrel factory last month & couldn’t be happier. Andi & her team took care of everything from decor to drink choices. Our guests loved the space & it was nothing short of perfect for our wedding reception. Everything looked beautiful in the event space & we were taken care of from start to finish. Would 100% recommend!”

“Buffalo Iron Works is a concert venue located in the heart of Buffalo, NY. The venue is housed in a historic industrial building, which gives it a unique and edgy atmosphere. The concert hall is spacious and well-designed, with excellent acoustics and a great view from any seat. The venue offers a wide variety of live music, from local and up-and-coming acts to well-known national touring acts. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the security is tight but not overbearing. The bar service is efficient and reasonably priced. One of the standout features of Buffalo Iron Works is the venue's commitment to sustainability. They use eco-friendly products and practices, and they have a strong recycling program. One downside to the venue is that it can get quite crowded during peak concert hours, which can make it difficult to navigate the space. Additionally, the parking can be challenging, especially on busy nights. Overall, Buffalo Iron Works is a great option for anyone looking for a unique and exciting concert experience in Buffalo. I would recommend arriving early to secure parking and avoid the crowds. If you're looking for a unique concert experience, try to catch a show on the outdoor patio during the warmer months, it's a great spot to enjoy the music and the atmosphere.”

“Great brewery with a lot of IPA and Sour options. Brunch on Sundays is nice and daughter had the French toast and she said it was really good. The poutine and fried cheese curds weren't bad either. Son had the kids cheeseburger and enjoyed it. I had the Cajun chicken wrap and it was outstanding. Wait staff was absolutely slammed with multiple events but they were friendly and explained that the best approach was likely going to be to order at the bar and then go sit down and enjoy the food/drinks. We spent a couple hours hanging out drinking, eating and chatting with friends and family and had a good time.”

“Absolutely loved this place. Stopped in with my cousin from out of state that is vegan, she had so many choices of prepared food and baked goods. The hot sandwiches were delicious!! Vegan banana bread was amazing! I will definitely drive the 20-30min back to the market for the Turkey, apple and brie sandwich 👍👍”
