(October 1, 2019, 11:58 pm)The Cottage is one of my favorite restaurants in Lake Placid! The day we came there was karaoke night, and the food delicious! They had a small indoor seating and a comfortable outside with a fireplace and heaters! Definitely a place to try! Service is also magnificent!

(September 3, 2019, 2:29 pm)The views were stunning, of course, and we were lucky enough to be seated right on the lake. We didn't even mind waiting for the table since they had Adirondack chairs right on the shore outside. The food was really really good (although a bit pricey). There is a small menu, but I think that's how they keep the food quality and we were very satisfied with what we ordered. We got baked brie for an appetizer, the house salad, a side mac and cheese, the open face ruben (the "Montreal"), and a chocolate mousse for dessert - everything was delicious!

(August 21, 2019, 9:15 pm)We were lucky and walked in to get a table outside right on the lake. The ambiance was the perfect place for a nice romantic lunch. The prices were a little high but we liked our food. There was not anything that was "wow" worthy but we enjoyed our lunch. Service was fine but could have been a bit more attentive.
