“This is a very nice restaurant which is easily accessible in downtown lake placid. The restaurant has a really nice ambience (besides lacking extensive bear decor) and is right along side mirror lake. The food itself is actually very good. My SO and I shared an appetizer which was definitely home made, but not all that great, but both of our seafood entrees were incredible.”

“The front is non-descript. The back has great view of Mirror Lake. We ordered Mediterranean & linguine with clams. The avocado has bruises, the greens have some dead leaves. Otherwise the scallops, shrimps & grilled calamari were good. My wife didn't like her pasta as it has gritty sand. I had to finished it. Yes, there is sand but we got 10% discount for it.”

“Great place for a good breakfast option to go. Bagels on the whole are fresh and soft from what experienced. The schmears are all good quality, and properly applied. The bagel egg sandwiches are great! Really good option if you want a little hardier option for the start of your day. Our group went for lunch also (though missed that trip) and everyone was really happy with their sandwiches they all said). Staff moves people through pretty quickly, even though the line seems a bit long sometimes. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Definitely patron these folks, they are good people and provide good product.”

Food and Drinks were awesome I especially loved the strawberry lemonade! We even went 2 days in a row! If your in town they have a beautiful lakefront view and a wonderful deck. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but once you walk it is amazing!”

“Visited on August 26, 2019, for lunch. It was a beautiful late summer day, hardly a cloud in the sky, so we decided to eat lunch on their deck. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and given our choice of tables. Our server was friendly and efficient. The menu had many good choices and the beverage options were ample. Our meals were served promptly and the food was well prepared and delicious. The prices were more than reasonable. This place did not disappoint; I would return. I would also tell family and friends visiting Lake Placid that, based on our experience, they would most likely enjoy Generations! Cheers!”

“Great shop. Great people. Needed to arrange food for 15 people on short notice. I called right before the shops closing the night before the food was needed. It was made so easy. We got two platters, one sub and one wrap. Variety was perfect. The next day when I went to pick up , the store was extremely busy. The pick up was easy and all people that helped me were friendly and efficient. Bonus , the food was delicious . It is not easy to make things work for multiple people, this worked ! If there was a sixth ⭐️... I would give it. Great management.”

“Absolutely amazing restaurant!! My boyfriend & I sat outside and the ambiance was amazing, there were picnic tables with blankets and pillows on them, which was very cozy and romantic.
