“We live right next door to this place and have been saying we would order for a while now and finally did today and we are more than happy with what we got. The subs were delicious and generously sized. I got the root 9 and was so excited that they had a good vegetarian option. It was so delicious!! “The food here is outstanding! Dinner entrees are priced on the higher side but they are well worth it if you're looking for a quality meal. They also have a small bar type menu with some burgers and sandwiches if you're looking for more casual fare. The ambience at the lodge is wonderful with fireplaces in multiple rooms. We love it here and stop in for dinner often. I believe they may also serve brunch on Saturday as I did see a menu for that when I was last there but there isn't any information about that on their website so it may have been a special event.”

“This place makes the best baked goods, best coffee, and the best service. There breakfast sandwiches are some of the best ones I’ve ever had, a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. OMG IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!! I would 100% recommend it to everyone! Stop by this place and get a coffee if your in Keene it will be worth it. Also Saturday’s they make some amazing pizza’s, with the normal pizza flavors and the most elaborate and best special pizzas that are different every week!”

“As a girl raised on TexMex and Taco Tuesday's I take my Mexican food very seriously. Hands down one of the best tacos I've ever had! Great seasoning, the perfect blend of spice, and big portions. Prices are really good and service is incredibly friendly. Great for sitting at the bar and watching a game with dinner or bringing the whole family and taking over a few of the booths. We Celebrated a Birthday here and I dropped off flowers beforehand to make it Extra Special! :) They nailed every meal perfectly and made the table look beautiful. “Best breakfast, coffee and friendly service. No need to go into Lake Placid to eat. This mountainside restaurant had the best prices, great plentiful breakfast with lots of smiles. The coffee was fresh and hot with a great Adirondack mug that you could buy as well as the coffee. We will be back for breakfast and lunch. “I have made it a habit to eat here as much as possible. Although I may be a sucker for what they serve here, I think they do it very well. They have a menu which fits a broad spectrum of tastes and includes some foods which you sadly can't really find on popular menus these days. My personal favorites (which I can remember off hand) are: Hot Open Roast Beef Sandwich 3D burger Food bar Fried Clam Strips On some nights, their specials include barbecue ribs and prime rib; which are both excellent choices. This is a family run establishment and it is clear they have a good deal of pride in both their enterprise and their role in the community. The servers are usually very friendly. My only warning is that a few seats are directly under the A/C vents, so you may want to wait for the perfect spot to open up. If you are new in town or just stopping through; try something you'll never forget. If you are from around here, but haven't stopped in for a long time, give it a shot; they wont let you down.”

“Ordered a to go order and had a drink while we waited. Waiter was very nice, accommodatingly took our order, and made a good drink. We ordered the Pad Thai. Tasted good enough but it was fairly dry and lacking in flavor. I would ask for extra sauce on the side or have some sauce at the ready when you take it home. (Also heard when the waiter was making sure our order was gluten free the cooks responded pretty rudely to him, sounded rude anyway.)”

“Incredible course! I played the Mountain course and was amazed by the views of the valley and the course is very well maintained. The cart paths could use some work but definitely worth a round. Not too Challenging for the average player but definitely difficult with a lot of the slopes. Tons of fun!”

“So happy to have found an amazing restaurant that’s only minutes away from my house! The food is delicious; we had the Brussels sprouts, the pretzel, the fried chicken sandwich and the fish and chips! Each thing was better than the last. This is a must visit! I can’t explain how nice it is to have a restaurant that is as good as my favorite restaurant in Lake Placid so close to home. The music was amazing and the staff are extremely friendly and took all of the appropriate Covid precautions to make us feel safe and comfortable. Thank you!! :-)”
