“I've been here twice in 3 years and only for the go-carts. I measured and it's over 1-mile of racing. No helmets and some bumping is allowed. I raced my 13 & 15-yr old and can't wait to go back & do it again. Totally worth the $6 for each person / ride.”

“WOW is an understatement, everything about Great Pines is magical for those looking for a rustic yet fun getaway in the mountains. It's a beautiful lakefront property with kayaks for usage and beautiful docks. I stayed in room 5, would highly recommend staying in the main lodge upstairs as it overlooks the beautiful lake. Truly a memorable experience, thanks to the amazing owners and friendly staff. The bed was also super comfortable and they have great coffee in the morning. I'm already excited to return and I just left today. Would highly recommend for a couple, solo, or family getaway! Tons of trails nearby, and locally owned restaurants.”

“Misters is my family’s go-to in Old Forge. We absolutely love it there - my sister even had her rehearsal dinner there! The food is always amazing and the menu changes seasonally. You can tell they have a passion for the food and drinks they serve! We always make sure to order a round of dirty martinis at the amazing old school bar before our meal. “All the chicken tastes the same and other menu options can be pretty inconsistent. Spicy here is never spicy. And they give a really small amount of rice. Definitely not the best Chinese I’ve ever had but it is the only option. Fast wait time. So not too bad if you like sesame chicken.”

“Well this review is overdue. We've frequented Frankie's multiple times over the past few years and it has been the epitome of consistency every single time. The quality of the food is unrivaled. Always perfectly prepared, seasoned, and portioned. It's a testament to how much the owner and staff genuinely care about their craft. I am a restaurant owner myself and it's so refreshing to see a family owned operation working their socks off all while keeping a smile on their faces and positive disposition in such trying times. With all due respect to other restaurants in the old forge area, you're missing out dining anywhere else. Especially now that the owner is retiring. Get there while you can people. To the entire staff at Frankie's thank you and if you get a second give yourselves a little pat on the back. You deserve it.”
