“Dined there July 28th with a group of 11, all locals. I ordered the crab roll (Market Price - $31) and tried to order something off the children's menu ($12) for my wife who can't eat large meals. I was told (by Christian) you can only order off children's menu if 12 or younger. My wife has been ordering off children's menu for decades and has never before been refused. When I picked up our food I tried to explain why my wife needed a child's portion. Instead of saying had he known he would have accommodated us and to make sure to tell him next time, Christian replied "I'm not a mind reader". Needless to say my wife and I will not be dining there again.”

“We ate here twice, once for lunch before we took the Clayton 2 Nation Boat Tour and the following day for dinner and both days they DID NOT disappoint, very good flavorful home cooked comfort foods, the only I wish they did was take cards but they don't, its cash only. They do however have an ATM in Restaurant for your convenience. I would recommend this place to anyone, in fact I have!”

“Wow! Best PIZZA in town and out of town as well. We sat at the pizza bar and it was much fun to watch everyone working as a team. The young ladies were super sweet and nice to talk to. The service was to notch!!! Our server as well as the girls in the pizza bar area. Literally, the pizza is the best. “Stopped in here on a Tuesday night after sunset for late bites and nightcap. The bartender/server Eric was great. Made us signature cocktails which were amazing, a little pricey, but worth it. Enjoyed some appetizers which were also fantastic on the deck overlooking the river, and the view is just fabulous. A fireside seat opened up so we had a couple more drinks and enjoyed that too. Great place.”

“This was our first week in the 1000 islands. Our first day we went into clayton and we saw reviews that said coyote moon was a must stop place. Most of the time that's just hog wash and its like every other store or restaurant. Boy was I wrong, this place IS a must stop. The wine is good. It's $5 for a tasting unless you buy 3 bottles of wine. Everyone is super friendly. The two best things are: 1. The food, we had this meat, cheese, and fruit tray that was fantastic with some glasses of wine. 2. They have this back patio that over looks the river. This view is to die for. We ended up going back two different days, the second day they actually remembered us from 2 days before. I would make sure you stop at coyote moon if you are going to the 1000 islands.”

“This was a really great place to catch a bite to eat on our way to the Adirondacks. We got there early, so there were not too many people yet. The staff was excellent and their burgers are next level. MY girlfriend got the Adirondack Salad and was beyond satisfied. We plan on making a trip back to Clayton and we will definitely make a stop here at least once.”

“Good luck to the family that has taken on the challenge of the Pier House. It's gone through a number of owners. I think these folks make it work. Their menu is kind of hamburger but their salads and fish are wonderful. We've been there three times this season. We still have things on the menu we want to try. To me, that's rare. The process are reasonable, the service has been friendly and effective. Give 'em try! (Particularly if the place next door is a bit much for your wallet and your palette)”
